I tried to troll an LSU fun on Twitter just now who didn't seem to get that Brian Kelly getting defended by CFBs who do not like him is bad for LSU and the dude responded with, "No, it isn't because none of this is actually important."

I was stunned. I didn't respond but I thought, "Touché brother."

That's an interesting take considering LSU insiders and beat writers say that they covet Kiffin first and Heupel 2nd. While I love the fact we have a coach people want, it makes me wonder how difficult it would be to say no to that money, resources, recruiting territory with no in state competition. I can assure you that I do not lose sleep over it. Thanks for the snarky response though. Happy Thanksgiving.

I'm sitting here having a cigar at a cigar bar in Lakeland. This arrogant Florida fan starts talking to this other dude saying there was so many questionable calls against Florida and everytime Florida got ready to score the ref's would throw a flag hinting refs were cheating in Tennessee favor.

I finally couldn't take it anymore and I told this dude, Sir Tennessee could have blown out Florida by 70 if we wanted to but CJH took his foot off the gas not wanting to embarrass your interim coach. He says I was at the game it was clearly being one sided towards Tennessee. I told him Sir, it was 31-0 at the half and Florida is a dumpster fire who got blown out by Kentucky too. He then proceeds to start blaming their AD Stricklen for all their problems starting with Football to Tennis. LMAO

I told him yea, we going to beat you in mens basketball, women's basketball, baseball and even soccer and track n field. Dude shut up and sitting in his corner right now looking all pissed off! hilarious

You are justifying fearing something I do not, and you should not. But you won't lose sleep over it. I was never in any danger of losing sleep over it. I am not sure why in the world you think LSU could hire Heupel away from us if we wanted to keep him. They cannot.

I know the NIL money probably matters to the players, but to us, why are we complaining about this tournament? All we can do is win the games that are put in front of us. Everything else is going to take care of itself.

I wonder if what got Billy Napier fired at Florida was the fact he just wasn't abusive enough. I don't think it was up to Florida's high standards of abusive head coaches.

More NIL money = able to attract better players. It matters for fans too.

If NIL money wasn't involved, then I would agree that complaining about the format of a November "tournament" is silly since the point of such an event is to play good teams, and you still play good teams even if you don't make the final.
