Darn. Don’t like that Arkansas got such a good one. Was hoping he would go outside the sec. Though definitely better than him going to uf or Auburn.

Arkansas fans seem disappointed it’s Golesh. What did they honestly expect with how terrible their program has been? Golesh is a good hire. He’s going to do well there.

Margin of victory capped at 20pts/game I think. Matchups mattered. We drew the best other team in the tournament. Anyway, the win against Houston is likely more important than another few hundred k in NIL $.

People on this site have talked so much **** about Bishop Boswell and the guy is keeping us in the game with his defense and surprisingly good offense..

There's this idea that if a guy isn't immediately contributing in his freshman year, then he'll never be a good player. It's in both football and basketball and it's an incredibly lazy take.

Golesh and Arkansas is a weird marriage.

They just tried the fast paced spread 2 coaches ago and hated it so much they hired an OL coach for HC to go big beefy offense

Also a weird fit for Golesh but an SEC job is an SEC job so good luck

Did not know that, thank you. Still don’t think it greatly changes my feeling though.

Questions: To be used… when? For the current players or just to the school in general? I mean $1million ain’t nothing and that could be plenty useful, but in terms of this season nobody is going to be saying well they only played Kansas and Houston instead of Houston and Gonzaga/michigan… I like that we were in a position to get the backups the experience we might need to rely on over the course of what has continued to become a more and more grueling schedule in the sec.

It’s NIL money to the players. The money should just be more evenly distributed because it’s not a true tournament bracket. Iowa State beat 2 good teams and get nothing.
