Really have to be frustrated with this team right now. Poor shot selection way to many times. Poor passing and to much fouling. Cooper has been the difference between winning and losing in this one thus far. Mia playing a really bad game several others are as well.

Kim has said more than once she expected her teams to play badly until they got it and that epiphany occurs around December. That learning curve was much steeper last year because we had a lot of experience out front.

One more quarter like the 1st and call it a game Lady Vols🍊.
I actually like seeing this contest a low scoring grind it out kind of a battle against in-state foes.

some bad shots, but a lot of our threes tonight have been wide open. we just are not hitting them.

The hole left by Spear and Spencer is large and looming. Their shooting would have added another 15-20 points to the first half score tonight, easy. Certainly would have covered up some of the bad shots and bad decisions, as well.

Even with the ugly play I don’t ever feel as nervous that we will give up and lose to a poor team.

With the previous two coaching staff I always felt you could feel the energy and see the body language just evaporate if we weren’t hitting shots. Would get that sense of impending dread just knowing we were going to let them hang with us the entire rest of the game and take it down to the wire.

I always feel like Kim’s team will go on at least ONE run good enough to beat a bad team. All it takes it one of those 2 minute 12-16 point runs and that’s it for a team like this. There are elements of this style that remind me very much of Pat’s late 90s teams. The pace was fast and the system was almost 100% effort based and not dependent on a really big girl.

Wow, this is the first I've been able to watch this year, and I'm more than a little concerned. Other than Coop, I don't see a single positive. The basketball IQ of this bunch looks horrendous. Hopefully I'm just seeing them at their worst. Coach Kim has her work cut out for her.
