It's important to note that Number 6 Oklahoma only triumphed over Belmont by 17 points, 84 to 67. This indicates that we should approach this game with focus and intensity. We must play as if our opponents are undefeated, leaving nothing to chance and maintaining our momentum throughout the match. Let's give it our all.

Score predictions don't seem to be as exuberant as they were prior to the Lady Vols first two games. Hopefully, the team will catch fire and come away with a huge smack down.

I think this will be a big get well, or at least get better, game for the LVs. I think they win by 25 at least. They've been home for three days of full practice. I'm sure they're tired of hearing it from coach,from social media, from everywhere. I think tonight poor Belmont feels the brunt of us finally having the game everyone has been waiting to see.

The most important thing is that the LVs come out full of focus, energy and determination from the time they leave the locker room. Can't have another performance where it looks like they're not sure why they're there. Then they have to carry that over. Make progress every game.

I went a little conservative mainly because I think Belmont is a good team. We could score a hundred on them as it is a home game and home has been our best games. A 20 point win would be a great showing and anything above that would be a fabulous performance by the team. Oklahoma beat them by 17 and it was kind of like our game with UT Martin close until the last 15 minutes of the game.

Hopefully we don't shoot 3 of 23 from the three like Oklahoma did in that game. On the other side hopefully we don't put them on the line 22 times like Oklahoma did. The good news for Oklahoma was that they only made 11 of those 22 free throws. The game was 58 to 54 Oklahoma after three quarters and then they won the fourth by 13.

I saw how that game was close late in the game. Then Oklahoma loses to UCLA by 13, I believe. Belmont is always decent. Early in the season, new faces - Lady Vols are hard to predict until they jell.

Belmont is along the lines of MTSU in that they are always one of the most consistently solid mid-majors. That makes them dangerous to teams that are still trying to find their footing like the Lady Vols are.

I agree with the sentiment on your comment; however, I believe the LVs will be on solid footing tonight. GBO.

Until we see the best players play a little more together and more minutes probably going to look a little ragged at times. I am expecting Cooper, Civil, Barker, Robertson or Mia, and Spearman to start. How much they play together before we see all types of combinations guess we'll find out soon. Maybe some of the others that have done virtually nothing will finally make a contribution in this game. If so we should easily win by 20.

If UT improves the player rotations and adjusts the press it might be worse. Would like to see Civil get 20+ minutes to see what she produces.

One player for Belmont will hav a lot of experience dealing with our press -- from being at practices last year: Avery Strickland (25.5mpg 9ppg) is a starter for the Bruins after transferring following last year.

Tenn. Lady Vols - 73
Belmont Bruins - 65

Won't be predicting any high score totals anymore until coach figures out what we're trying to do offensively. We've looked way outta-wack for a team that put up 148 in game one... (and running deeper into the shot clock is resulting in fewer possessions per game anyhow)
