Lol. If what you say is true there wouldn’t be countless people with worthless degrees and mountains of student loan debt. Standards are lower. Curriculum is full of worthless classes. Many of the degrees themselves are flat out useless. I’m not making a blanket statement but outside of a handful of degrees there isn’t much return on investment. Not everyone can major in “diary forensics” like you. 🤣

We're not discussing and the ACA isn't about healthcare, it's about health insurance. The cost of health insurance has skyrocketed since the ACA was implemented and there is no disputing that, several reasons as to why that is the case and they include mandatory coverage for various items that are not needed, eliminating true catastrophic plans and added compliance/administration costs.

You’re clearly angry about the ACA. Could it be because of the mandates on employers?

Is there any idea you agree with? How about wellness incentives, or positive impacts on small businesses that aren’t subject to the mandates?

I'm not angry at all, please stop deflecting.

The only part of ACA that I agree with is that people cannot be denied coverage due to pre-existing conditions.

So you aren’t a fan of covering essential health benefits, no-cost preventative care, mental health provisions?

What’s amazing about the ACA is that the longer it has been in place, the more favorable public opinion is on the program in general, despite gop’s best efforts.

That means that the authors of the ACA planned on it failing and it needing to be replaced, what am I missing?

Your first statement is correct. Your second statement is you assuming the intent of the writers of ACA. I’ve asked you to elaborate on how you know that it was intended to fail, and nothing of note convinces me that it was intended to fail.

It’s common sense that going from a multi-payor system would need involve a bridge if moving to single-payor, likely in multiple steps. The ACA would be step one. If you can point to something that proves the intent was to fail, I’m all ears… but I haven’t heard that yet.

Less then 30% of those with degrees work on the field of thier degree. 60% are underemployed
And only 45% actually work in a field where a degree is required and many of those field are opting for experience over a degree..given those stats and I can provide links if needed. It shows that today's college degree are not worth near as much as they used to be..they have become less and less each year..so while some degree have merritt most 4 year degree are not worth the value of 1 year of experience in the same field.

It’s broken down daily.

On $250,000 at 5.75% is about $40 per day interest in the beginning. That’s why very little money goes towards the principal at the beginning of the loan.

Besides the need to elaborate on what “those degrees” point to specifically, because I’m pretty sure that doesn’t apply to healthcare degrees…besides that, all those fun numbers you quoted, doesn’t that point to the job market (or lack thereof), lack of evolution in our society overall, and a regression in innovation?
