Even then if we turn the ball over i doubt we can beat either. The defense was much better in the 1st half and there was better tackling last night overall. But i agree we seem to play not to lose.

I havent forgotten how bad we were. Its the only reason I'm not on the fire Heupel train yet. However i do think there needs to be changes to the staff and the mentality of our staff. When you have a team down keep your foot on their neck.

Exactly!! and yes OP,you're overreacting. Huepel is so bad that he took Tennessee to the CFB last year. Yeah he's frustrating with clock management,and i hate that about him. This program before him went through the likes of Dooley,Butch and Pruitt...

10-15 years of mediocrity or worse. They're lucky to have a guy like Huepel. Aguilar also had a bad offensive game with several picks. His worst game of the year. I have to admit the defense held up for longer than I would've thought.

Now,if they go out and put out an absolute stinker against Florida or come out flat in a couple of weeks against the cupcake they play then yeah,there needs to be a talk. Not now.

Jeremy Pruitt just got hired at Jacksonville State in Alabama as an analyst. He's worming his way back into the system. If he wins his lawsuit against NCAA he could be available.

Cignetti has built a great reputation based on beating a lot of bad teams the last two years. He's not an upgrade to Heupel. Crazy

Just a few years back, winning 6 games was considered winning the super bowl here.

Fast forward a few years later and beating Alabama, LSU, going to the playoffs isn't good enough. It's hard to recruit players to Tennessee compared to Florida, and other warm places

You just watch LSU go through something like we did. This is unrealistic.

“Josh” didn’t miss the field goal… or short arm the pass… or fumble and make bad decisions on pass attempts. Sure, it’s legitimate to question some of the play calls from your armchair, but getting through an SEC schedule unscathed is indeed rare. We’re not going this year. So should we burn down the house and start all over again… again! I vote no.

Uhhh... He went 11-2 last year his first year and he is undefeated this year by beating the #3 Oregon and I don't think this Tennessee team can beat Oregon in Heupels 5th year!!! I think he is a major upgrade to Heupel and you're crazy!!!

You all need tk accept the fact the we were put in a disadvantage before the season even began with Nico leaving and so many of our great defensive players leaving as well.

I think we have preformed really well considering all this in mind. Even Joey has been working out
