Agreed and I don't think CJH would leave for LSU either. Like someone else said, I think it would take something happening with DW for Heupel to even consider it. By all accounts, he likes UT.I don't believe CJH would leave for LSU but the Baseball team has their own boosters that have really deep pockets. Baseball is #2 at LSU...
A school like LSU could care Danny White fits if they go after Heupel. All they care about is football. They don’t care about being an all everything school. They will pay big.
Unfortunately with the stupidity of fans and college sports currently this is absolutely true. The worm can change in an instant. This year we already have two coaches fired by week 8 that were in the top 5 within the last month. Lose a couple games down the stretch and a lot of idiot fans start screaming for Hype's head and it changes your thought process pretty quick. You also get to restart your clock because in modern college football they don't give you any grace for what you did in the past. Never, ever say never in the current environment. Reality is there are way more coaching vacancies than quality coaches to fill the spots. AD's can get panicked pretty quickly when they get turned down by their first few choices. Every group of fans thinks more highly of their school and program than reality as we know all to well. Give me stability all day, every day but that's not the average fans thought process as they think you should be in the playoffs every year and super coach is always just a call away.Flip side is that his clock would reset and he'd find all the talent he'd need in his home state which LSU dominates. Hey, if we can lose Vitello, we can lose Heupel.
Man...I really hope we eventually see Ethan Davis kind of take off. 4 star top 150 national player and a top 10 TE outta HS.
In year 3 now, 18 catches for 157 yards and 3 TDs.
His name might come up with some openings but I don’t see it going anywhere. Jmo@LWSVOL any smoke out there with Huep and other job openings?
Thanks. Now @Jackcrevol IBS can quit flaring up...His name might come up with some openings but I don’t see it going anywhere. Jmo
Count how many were caught at or behind the LOS...
It was right at the LOS, not a full yard in front like the Bama one. And on top of that, the other WR didn't block until the ball was caught. Many of us know the rule, but they let close ones go all of the time. The first one in those highlights against UK was past the LOS and not called. Only called against Bama.
I would guess at this point, both are doubtful. Tomorrow’s report should shed some light. Carter seems more doubtful than Hood. Hood is trying to get out there. Just hope he doesn’t have any setbacks. Even if not, he might be better of sitting. How about a more important question…..do Hood and Carter play this weekend?
Don’t like that at allI would guess at this point, both are doubtful. Tomorrow’s report should shed some light. Carter seems more doubtful than Hood. Hood is trying to get out there. Just hope he doesn’t have any setbacks. Even if not, he might be better of sitting.
If either played, no where close to 100 percent
Telander just isn't as athletic as those guys. Even Beasley was a converted safety.Spillman is rapidly improving and extremely talented. Perlotte and Harmon are two young guys that are flashing when they're out there. As for Carter and Telander...I think Carter was turning into a really good LB before he got hurt. Telander reminds me of a guy like Aaron Beasley who looked ok at times until late during his junior year when things clicked and he started making a ton of plays. I think Telander has it in him but just needs more experience so he isn't thinking as much and can react quicker. There's a lot of potential in the linebacker room. The safety room, on the other hand, is really concerning.
