Tony Vitello to SF Giants (Confirmed)

Too much smoke for it not to be. When the truth comes out, people are going to be shocked.
I heard the same thing. Russ was just talking about it on the radio. Him and Bob said DW was using office staff to communicate w Tony. That as far as they knew the only time DW talked w Tony was Saturday.

Coach Elander has overwhelming support from the present team and past players. He's the logical choice (and correct choice IMO) to hand the reins to. Unfortunately, I don't believe White will do so. I'm hearing Kentucky coach, Mangione.

Lol no...im just not wanting to fire one of the best ADs in the country over our baseball coach leaving to be the first college coach ever to coach MLB
What makes him the best? He has 2 hires to his name here, that’s what ultimately determines success. His hires at UCF, Heupel aside, have been failures. His last baseball hire was fired, by his successor. DW thinks he’s the smartest man in the room when the answer is right in front of him.

If you are going to posts this then show your work. What exactly did Danny do that ran Tony off? I think Tony made a great personal move and is making a career move.

He was not native to Tennessee or the program and I think he was looking for the next move whenever it presented itself. I congratulate him and am thankful for what he has done for the program. Other than that, our AD has a proven track record in successful hires.

Good luck Tony and you are always welcome in Big Orange Country!!
There were problems between the two. However, Tony was tired of the what NIL has become.

Tony was already building his freaking program..... Are you blind?
Again, he was second highest paid coach in the sport (second only to a guy with two natties) and $105 million dollar stadium renovation. Also multiple top recruiting classes. Nearly every sport doing better than when he got here. Mega investments in all sports. Record revenue.

But please, use your feelings for the basis of your argument. A day before the original Giants news broke Danny could do no wrong.
