Yes he has!

I think he looked at strike 3 on Tony Vitello. Nobody bats 1.000.
Did he? He gave him money and facilities. He left him alone even when maybe they didn't like each other very much. Truth is we don't (and likely won't) know what Tony's motivation for leaving is, but there is nothing beyond rumors to suggest that DW failed. Again...he left to be the only college coach in history to become the manager of a MLB team. DW has no counter for that, unless the answer was to keep throwing money at him until he couldn't say no.

Frank as interim means that Elander is either going to San Fran too or White isn't going to consider him.

White will hire a new staff at the end of this college baseball season.

White seems to be a bit of a control freak.
No mistakes yet............Control away.

It sucks when you realize even the most "Tennessee" coaches we have who say "you're either a Vol or you're not" still aren't truly in it. Pat and Fulmer were the last 2 UT coaches to be completely ride or die.
Everybody is always chasin' the bigger bucks. Except in this case where he's not.

I didn’t think so until:
- Burke and Rogers insinuated DW helped pack Tony’s bags; and
- we got word that Elander most likely won’t be the hire.

Again, no reason to fire the guy, but it looks like he made a big mistake. I’m not gonna lie to myself to cover for him.

But it points to Tony's perception of a lack of resources.
I am just trying to understand how A&M has shown they would provide more resources for baseball. They had a great coach, who went to their rival after a short stint.

We've literally allocated more than $100 million for upgrades, and he still had enough to recruit the #1 class. You have to admit that they are both big egos.

Imagine older players knowing this guy has zero pro experience as a player or coach coming in and trying to tell him what to do and how to play the game. This is going to be a disaster.
I think this will be his biggest obstacle. Nothing gains cred with the professional ball players like someone who has been there done that. TV wi have to do a major sell job on his hands.
