If true, it leads more credence to the idea Danny wants to clean house but knows it’s too late this year to do a regular coaching search. If Frank is the interim, it means this entire coaching staff is gone next summer.

It’s a layup decision to promote Elander and operate as business as usual. Doing anything else than that is certifiably insane. It’s not defensible.

I know it was. But the insinuation was that anyone that thinks DW screwed this up automatically wants him fired.

That’s fair. I just think DW is probably the most important hire UT has made. The idea of the fanbase turning on him over a potential conflict with Tony Vitello is hard to stomach. Tony taking a once in a life-time opportunity is not reflective on DW. Tony has already turned down multiple college jobs included Texas A&M twice.

The AD not immediately hiring the specific guy I want before doing any kind of search at all means he is a literal Nazi. And probably a sociopath.

That's a small sample size. I'm talking globally. America is Top 20 globally in average intelligence (probably due to our schooling system and nutrition programs) out of nearly 200 countries.

So your observed average is top 10% globally.

If my students are top 10% globally then how have we all not died a horrible death yet

White will hire a new staff at the end of this college baseball season.

I think the kids on the current roster would have to redshirt if they were to transfer right now. Meaning they can transfer immediately but would not be eligible immediately. I could be wrong but I don’t think we will have an issue with guys jumping ship right now.

College athletics is unrestricted free agency, anyone who wants to leave can and play right away.

To play devil's advocate for DW here, Michael Earley was viewed similarly at A&M when Schloss left (different timing, obviously). Hasn't worked out great so far.
