It could also just as easily be big money donors whose history with Tennessee was more than half the time spent rubbing shoulders with and kissing the feet of Pat Summit. LVs are a legacy and could be an emotional attachment for all of them. We will probably never know to what extent any of them have a role in Danny’s decision making process, but we’d be fools to think they don’t hav a significant one, much less not one at all.

I think this is close, but a little off.

It is Tony V they commit to when the money 💰 is close/equal.

The fact that the dispute over revenue sharing has been so prominent is a direct result of Tony himself realizing he needs more money to compete in the new era of pay-for-play.

Kids commit, #1, to the money, #2, to the coach. If we can’t compete on #1, we don’t get a chance to compete where we are superior, #2.

Tony V is the tie breaker. But, we gotta do our part to get it to a tie. Nice new stadium doesn’t do that; players don’t care how comfortable the fans are, they want the $$$.

Just enter and exit from the Porches. Don’t leave that area as rest of LNS is a construction zone, and you will likely be asked to leave. (Just looking out for my peeps).

We need to have a crowd chanting at the rock, with a quickly painted mural asking Tony to stay.

Behind the rock, we will have sacrificial couch ready to burn if he doesn't.

And if DW won’t commit those resources for Tony, he sure isn’t going to commit the resources for Elander.

As crazy as this sounds, it could be the tipping point. I think Tony’s love language is words of affirmation- everyone likes be reminded that folks care.

The ADs job is nothing more than a ball juggler’s job.

The balls are the business, the financial supporters, the school, leadership, all the sports and coaches and players.

The AD is juggling all those while trying to add more balls and get each one to get higher and higher without dropping one.

He is constantly trying to fix the squeaky wheels without dropping a ball.

People amaze me thinking he should just worry about one ball and ignore all the others would last about a week in the job. Part of what he was challenged with and his plan was to get every sport to chase championships and now everyone is upset he may not favor their holy grail sport over others.

He usually leaves the mic open during breaks, if you listen to his X broadcast. You don’t hear any of the discussion during commercials, if you listen to the radio or app.
