It could also just as easily be big money donors whose history with Tennessee was more than half the time spent rubbing shoulders with and kissing the feet of Pat Summit. LVs are a legacy and could be an emotional attachment for all of them. We will probably never know to what extent any of them have a role in Danny’s decision making process, but we’d be fools to think they don’t hav a significant one, much less not one at all.Another thing I noticed too about our new re do of baseball stadium is the new suite seats have knocked out the average vol baseball fan seat. White Dan is only worried about the $$$. As an AD you worry about all sports and if he is supporting Lady Vol basketball due to Kimmy being his hire that is pretty much just dumb. I get you may not like someone Dan and Vitello is Vitello but he has turned this baseball program around and if we lose Tony to the alleged reasons our baseball program will slide down tremendously. I hope this works out for Vitello to stay but he needs the resources to compete vs the arky and LsU in SEC,
I think this is close, but a little off.I have been saying that repeatedly but the response is well several recruits/commits speak highly of Elander.... Thats great if they speak highly of Elander but they did not commit to Elander - it's freaking Tony Vols they have come here for!
Just enter and exit from the Porches. Don’t leave that area as rest of LNS is a construction zone, and you will likely be asked to leave. (Just looking out for my peeps).Sitting in the dark, tells me he still hasn't made his mind up. If anyone is close to campus and can get there to the stadium for the open training. DO IT. be loud, be proud. Let's show him the love.
And if DW won’t commit those resources for Tony, he sure isn’t going to commit the resources for Elander.I think this is close, but a little off.
It is Tony V they commit to when the moneyis close/equal.
The fact that the dispute over revenue sharing has been so prominent is a direct result of Tony himself realizing he needs more money to compete in the new era of pay-for-play.
Kids commit, #1, to the money, #2, to the coach. If we can’t compete on #1, we don’t get a chance to compete where we are superior, #2.
Tony V is the tie breaker. But, we gotta do our part to get it to a tie. Nice new stadium doesn’t do that; players don’t care how comfortable the fans are, they want the $$$.
As crazy as this sounds, it could be the tipping point. I think Tony’s love language is words of affirmation- everyone likes be reminded that folks care.We need to have a crowd chanting at the rock, with a quickly painted mural asking Tony to stay.
Behind the rock, we will have sacrificial couch ready to burn if he doesn't.
