Yes, no timeouts. I would have thrown a fade. Then kicked a fg if it were dropped. Pts matter in this game, especially when they have the lead and get the ball to start the half.

It’s was as easy as that. That play/formation they called allowed Bama to crowd the box and go after either the rb or qb(really just the qb cause they knew PA was coming) and disrupt the play like they did and cause that throw. If we didn’t get it, kick a field goal. Would have only been down 6 after that and then had the lead after our first TD in the 2nd half.

I don’t see how people can argue this at all lol really shows their football knowledge or stubbornness or both.

That game was all about playcalling and execution and was winnable. It wasn’t cause some huge talent gap like others are saying. We shot ourselves in the foot over and over.
