I get that the other passengers didn’t want to get stabbed too, but nobody even helped her or checked on her? And the culture represented there is ‘you don’t snitch’, but that makes my heart hurt

Happens all day every single day. The black community needs to stop making excuses and speak up. Personally dont give a **** what mental disorder this animal claims he has. He shouldn't have been on the street. Bring back public executions and 3 strikes you're out and our country is a utopia. But that's mean so we live in fear of our wives and daughters being stabbed in the neck on buses instead.

Mayor Vi Lyles of Charlotte, North Carolina, won Tuesday's Democratic Party mayoral primary in an election overshadowed the past few days by the deadly stabbing of a Ukrainian refugee aboard a city train.

The stabbing death of Iryna Zarutska last month on a light-rail train by a man with a history of mental illness and over a dozen arrests quickly grabbed national attention and reignited a conversation about crime after security video of the gruesome attack was released and went viral.

Lyles' response to the slaying has been criticized, and Republicans claim the mayor and other Democrats are too soft on people with criminal records.


Lyles, who is Charlotte’s first Black female mayor, faced four lesser-known challengers in the Democratic primary, with the killing increasingly in the spotlight.

George Floyd was a street criminal who on two different occasions threatened women with weapons, including threatening to stab a pregnant woman. This guy and Floyd are literally the same type of animal

Yes he was convicted of a home invasion against a pregnant woman in which he held her down with the weapon to her pregnant stomach threatening to kill her AND the baby....while his buddies cleaned out all the valuables and ransacked her home. He should have been executed for that alone:

B and E. Felony
Kidnapping. Felony
Assault w deadly weapon Felony
Felony Larceny. Felony

He did 5 years for ^^^^ THAT. Should have been 20 at LEAST. he already had an extensive record before that incident.

Also, as someone who was arrested as a teenager and went through the justice system...3 strikes/habitual felons resulting in a life sentence are a GOOD thing and we need them back desperately. For those unfamiliar, that doesn't mean locked up forever. Thats a life sentence WITHOUT parole which is reserved almost exclusively for murderers who are spared the death penalty. A normal life sentence is 20 years extra tacked on to their 3rd felony. As a state charge though many states parole criminals after half or a third of that 20 years has actually been served. Federal charges are totally different and have an 85% mandatory minimum so that a federal life sentence means serving at least 17 of the 20 years before parole. The vast majority of folks are charged by the state though unless its a firearms/explosives/terrorism charge.

The habitual offender laws (3 felony strikes) are a useful tool that allow prosecutors and judges to actually KEEP the very dangerous criminals like Floyd and this jackass here in charlotte in prison longer so that normal people are SAFE. They help greatly to prevent what has happened in the majority of the cases posted in this thread where very dangerous people are released right back onto the streets to hurt/rape/kill more innocent citizens. We need harsher penalties AND to get rid of the Leftist judges and DAs that keep dropping charges and setting these animals free.

Well it seems all those “end racism” logos painted on the football fields and basketball courts, blm uniform patches, and kneeling is having the opposite effect. I think the NFL and NBA need to add “Don’t kill Whitey” logos to their venues. I heard the Charlotte stabbing victim had a blm poster in her room and the 1st thought that came to mind is leftist women getting exactly what they voted for.

The only way leftist women will understand if something like that happened to them or their family. Leftist women (and most men) are so disconnected from reality, it would take an event like that to help them pull their head out of their butt.

Wrong. Not a woman, but see dad of the kid that got stabbed to death at the track meet or whatever it was. He just rolled with the outright lies and talked about he loved diversity of whatever despite his son being murdered in cold blood.

It's a cult and the constant victims are its intentional sacrifices.
