My calculation on the "should I" doesn't factor in this convo. The question is "is NATO to blame" and am I to blame for the conflict in my example? No. I have zero blame. It's not bad behavior to sing your team's song. Answering your question, the reason you wouldn't do it is because bad sports might act like dipshits, which they are 100% to blame for their behavior. There is no left over blame for me.

But the Russia question is different than my example, because Russia is invading Ukraine whether or not NATO moved east.

I actually agree with Hog’s premise as well that it would help if countries stopped buying from Russia. Don’t know where they could make up the difference but I really don’t care. I just like making fun of Trump and his leg humpers for the big talk and bluster. He rarely follows through after making those big promises. The “severe consequences” for Russia is just another one. And it’s just another bright shiny object to placate the leg humpers.

It’s totally unforced errors on Trump’s part also. Trump trying to achieve peace is an admirable goal and I really hope he succeeds. At this point absolutely nobody buys his bluster. And at the head of the list of non believers when it comes to his bluster is Putin.

None of that involves you. What is there to fear?

Georgia should be concerned which is why the Biden administration was sanctioning their "friends", they have been targeted for elimination. The small Eastern European countries should be finding an out. Oh there is a pattern here which is why you don't address the U.S. military foreign policy over the last 60 years.

I personally don't have to worry about Russia invading my property, former Warsaw Pact countries, obviously saw Russia's behavior, and (rightfully) did fear Russia enough to seek NATO membership.
