Seeing someone say the Cowboys should have draft Dan Marino always makes me chuckle. It still blows my mind he was the 27th overall pick. I wasn’t alive back then but I know If they were to do that draft today he would be a top 5 pick. I don’t care how deep that class was. He was one of the best QBs of all-time. It’s crazy to see how teams valued certain positions back then.Loading…

They wouldn’t even deserve that. Just think if they were to actually secede: no more major college football, no more federal funding for their universities, no more SEC money, no more ESPN money. The Longhorn Network was a massive failure so we all know they couldn’t succeed as an independent athletic program without outside help. Don’t want to get into a political conversation here but it’s hilarious to me anytime Texas seceding is brought up. They think they can run the country, or better yet run their own country. Well let’s see it big boys because the Volunteer State won’t be there to save your asses whenever you go belly up this timeI vote we send their asses to the ACC...oh, wait, nevermind.

I’m assuming you overlooked @MAD ‘s hypothetical, or you’re just feeling ornery this morning…They wouldn’t even deserve that. I’m betting on hornery...I’m assuming you overlooked @MAD ‘s hypothetical, or you’re just feeling ornery this morning…
Injured in Oakland and is now back in the lineup in STL. I will bet you Anthropolus is at least listening to offers. Acuna has tremendous upside-side but has been proven to be injury prone. This and his contract make him very attractive for a blockbuster deal. That’s one side of the calculus, the other side is I was told that if their one run loss record was flip-flopped, they would be one game out of first! No, he had to be scratched from a recent game due to back tightness and participating in a HR is only going to put that at further risk for injury. Acuña would be the last Brave being shopped right now.
Yes, whenever I looked at their one-loss record the other day they were 11-22. Pathetic. Braves will more than likely trade Ozuna and bullpen pitchers at the deadline. I wish they would trade Harris and Albies but they are on extremely team friendly deals so not likely. Of course any good GM will listen to any offer. If you don’t then you aren’t doing your job. That is quite different than shopping someone. If you are shopping someone then you are the one initiating the discussions. Nobody in their right mind is trading away a MVP in the middle of their prime with 3+ years left on their deal. You would have to give up an entire farm system for that and no team is going to do that for one player.Injured in Oakland and is now back in the lineup in STL. Will be interesting to see if the Braves are buying or selling.
