All over the state. I think I saw one in my backyard eating something.
It wasn't a dog or a cat squirrel or opposum.

If Knoxville can’t even be the current state capital of Tennessee then there’s no way in hell it would be the capital of the South. Little Rock, Arkansas would have a better chance than Knoxville does right now.

Harmless until provoked.
They could probably pack a mean bite, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard of anyone being bitten by one.
We also have armadillos in East Tennessee now, too!

I drove by one of those crossing the street here in W.TN. I had one in my neighbor's backyard that was trapped & couldn't find its way out a few years ago.
