Another great season of college baseball! This was one I didn’t see coming. I just didn’t think we had the pitching depth to get it done. However, some of the guys in the pen turned a huge corner the last month of the season, and you love seeing that this time of year!

I’ve had a lot of fun hanging out with yall on VN again this season! And I’ll look forward to doing it again next year!

When you have two aces that can go 7+ innings consistently, you don't need a ton of pitching depth I hope you don't still want to fire Jay Johnson, he's now got more Natties at LSU than any coach not named Skip Bertman

This season was kinda meh. I did enjoy watching the candy boys wet themselves though. We will reload and TV will be out for blood next year. GBO!!

lol I’ve never even thought about wanting CJJ fired! But, I can tell you there were quite a few fans on the Tiger Rant that did. And they’re all catching hell right now! Rightfully so! We all question our coaches at times. But, I think I posted in a game thread about halfway through SEC play that I learned my lesson about doing that. If I was keeping score on situations in which I questioned in game decisions, it would be CJJ 15 TigerMan 0.

This tourney worked out perfectly with our pitching. If we had lost a game and had to come back through the losers bracket, I’m not so sure the end result would be the same. But who knows. I’m glad I didn’t have to find out!
