Here's a breakdown of the incentives:Probably no bonus for getting to Supers but I don’t know for sure. Bonus for winning SEC and NC.
I like it. Bonus incentives are spot on!Here's a breakdown of the incentives:
Additionally, the contract includes an expanded salary pool for his assistants and support staff, allowing Vitello to better reward those who contribute to the program's success. The contract also includes a 75% share of any revenue from baseball equipment endorsement contracts,
- Signing Bonus: $250,000
- National Championship Bonus:$200,000
- College World Series Finals:$160,000
- College World Series Appearance: $140,000
- Super Regional as Top-8 Seed:$120,000
- Super Regional Appearance:$100,000
- SEC Regular Season or Tournament Championship:$80,000
- Regional Host (Top-16 Seed):$60,000
- Regional Appearance:$40,000

Tony Vitello will become the highest-paid coach in college baseball after extending contract with Tennessee
The contract extension comes on the heels of the Baseball Vols' historic national championship-winning season.www.wbir.com
Do those stack, or is it just the highest one achieved? Here's a breakdown of the incentives:

Good question. Are you gonna help a little, or just ask questions?Do those stack, or is it just the highest one achieved?
You mean “Woo Sooey?” Or “Woo, Sorry” again last night. This has always been so weird to me. They've got a great stadium, deep pockets, and a big fanbase---but they can't win the big one, and yet it's still considered to be a fantastic job. Maybe has something to do with the big coaching contracts, but they just can't get it done. Plus they have those strange yell leaders.
Exactly. The disdain directed at DW for trying to navigate this new landscape (and doing it well) is bizarre.I may ruffle a few feathers here, but I think the DW hate is so weird. I understand that people do not like the price increases we are seeing across sports, I don’t either, but I’m not sure how anyone can say it’s because DW is a money hungry, greedy, dollar-worshipping, egotistical, (insert adjective here) monster.
With revenue sharing, NIL, etc., college athletics are in a landscape shift right now and he’s only doing what is necessary to keep us competitive. Success isn’t cheap, especially now that schools have to account for an additional $20 million a year to pay players starting this Fall. If he took the “consumer friendly” route, it very likely would come with a reduction in talent across the board in sports, thus fans would be pissed about lack of success on the field or court instead of the prices and professionalization of college athletics. If it’s not one thing, it would be something else.
I’m not sure what he has done that is at odds with trying to keep us successful in all sports.
It's simple: a lot of them want some unknown billionaire to come in here and "Daddy Warbucks" us into a football juggernaut, all while not paying a single cent more for their tickets/concessions/parking/etc.Exactly. The disdain directed at DW for trying to navigate this new landscape (and doing it well) is bizarre.
Of course, many of the same ones bitching that he’s money-driven are complaining that we’re being outspent for recruits. It’s nonsensical.
No. The contract says coach can receive 1 performance incentive payment per year, which will be the highest incentive achieved. Basically, it maxes out at $200,000.Good question. Are you gonna help a little, or just ask questions?
Edit: Need an assist here, boo.

Do the incentives stack?
