President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

Amazing that Trump says he doesn’t want to deport workers, but rather focus on criminals (what everyone seems to want) and we have people pretending that’s a bad thing

I don't think that's a bad thing, I think that's what they should be doing. However the efforts so far don't seem to have been so targeted.

I think they have been. I continue hearing from the left that they’re not targeted and that they’re just deporting ā€œMaryland Father’sā€.

Then you hear the real story about the guy…

Rationalizing Trump's uninvite in that manner is pathetic. He's POTUS. He's supposed to be far above enacting petty grievances
I think you may have misunderstood me. I thought I clearly indicated that I thought it was a dumb and immature stunt. All I said was that he COULD do it; but not that it was a good idea

Apparently you don't understand that when a party controls a chamber, it's their job to set the legislative agenda. That can be done with either partisan bills or bi-partisan bills. They're not doing either. They have too much internal conflict, mainly fueled by petty grievances. Most of those triggered by the dumbed downed Trumpers.

Name a piece of legislation they have passed since they had control of the HOR
I think I can definitely agree that the party as a whole is laughably ineffective and I am frustrated beyond words at their apparent lack of will to get ANYTHING done.
But my point is that, even if they are lousy at IMPLEMENTING the policies they espouse; they haven’t changed appreciably what those policies are.
Unlike the democrats who went from a slightly left of center party that championed the working class and traditional family values in the 1980’s to a wildly socialist party that proscribes crushing centrally planned economic policy and is lacking in any sense of morality.
I still remember when Geraldine Ferraro stated that she personally didn’t approve of abortion but wouldn’t try to stop others from getting one. Or Bill Clinton saying that abortion should be safe, available , but RARE. Any democrat saying either of those things would be ostracized out of the party today. And even Barack Obama said during his first term that he opposed gay marriage. Once again, that would instantly end his political career in 2025. Any party that can so easily change its stance on moral issues that drastically in a couple of decades never really had a moral compass to begin with (IMHO).

As usual you come with no facts. That idiot barged into the press room & didn't ID himself & started shouting out loud at Noem. Showing no respect to anyone. They thought he was another lunatic Dem like usual so they threw him out. So now, as usual, he's playing the victim to those that slapped handcuffs on him. He didn't act like a senator or as if he belonged there. He's a cry baby. Look at how he was acting from the video below. Acting combative and being loud for the cameras.

You post that he didn't identify himself along with a clip of him identifying himself. Well played I guess.

Isn’t that essentially the democrats reasoning as to why illegals should be allowed to stay?

I honestly don't know what Democrats say about it. I do know Democrat politicians are signing resolutions praising ICE, and that's just one of many reasons why I don't GAF what they say.

Flat out, this is just a factual argument in favor illegal immigrants. It doesn't matter if you are a Democrat or a Republican, this is the reality and it must be considered in policy-making. For years I've been saying nobody can bring themselves to actually strictly enforce immigration within our borders because, A) as long as we don't massively open up the work visa program, we will desperately need illegals, and B) we as a society don't really have a stomach for it.

Trump is finally figuring out what every other dumbass politician figured out, which is the A part. The B part...he seems to like having enemies to fight with, and he wants to show force, and I don't think he GAF that society doesn't really have the stomach for it.

The clip circulating widely starts well after the confrontation began. Many people are saying that a scuffle had been going on for about a minute before identifying himself. Also, he was not wearing the pin that indicated he was a member of congress. Third, being a member of congress doesn’t allow one to barge in and interrupt a Press conference . Even in the Senate, he has to wait his turn and is allowed a certain amount of time. This was at the very least rude, impolite, and unprofessional. A member of the Senate should have a certain amount of decorum

You already know these answers. On private property? It’s obviously not. On public roads? You have to follow the laws regarding those roads to use them.
We have to follow laws everywhere. Our taxes fund roads. They're public property. We have a right to use them. Being able to isn't some gift.

Why does everyone on the left seem to mistake simply being opposed to democratic insanity as being cultishly following Trump?
Like I have said multiple times here; I have never voted for Trump in any of his three primaries. There are probably a dozen conservatives I would prefer to be President at the moment.
But I would vote for just about anyone over any democrat today. And I wasn’t always that way. There were democrats I found palatable until the late 1990s (and still might vote for today). Then the party went absolutely cray cray.
I'm sorry, but it really doesn't get any more unprofessional, corrupt, delusional, ignorant and insane than Donald Trump anymore. If you voted for that ancient, old, fat, ugly, spray-painted, disgusting idiot in the general election? Then you voted for sheer lunacy at the highest levels this country's government has ever seen, or ever will see.

lol. Maybe it’s just your lack of self awareness. Gonna be a long 3.5 years.

lol.

A fanatical cult of personality member such as yourself, would have no concept of self-awareness. That is dissolved during the period of indoctrination. So, maybe you can't do anything but deflect and project?

.... and play the Trump-ian "No puppet. No puppet. You're the puppet," game.

To be fair, Trump's far exceeded expectations of how bad he could be.
