Lindsey Nelson Stadium,

View attachment 747825This is Southern Miss. I think it looks more natural. Agree or disagree?

They need to kind of split the differnce between USM and what they've got now. USM's is a bit bright in person but definitely more the direction they need to go.

The Ag school experiment farms would kill to have dirt as dark as our fake dirt we have now LOL.

How bout the "dirt" be pantone 151? kidding...I think...

They have several months to FIX this issue !!! They better not take the food away!!!

As an MVP seat holder (4 of them), if they do go through with this, next year will be my last holding these tickets. I have had MVP tickets since they built the place. You want to talk about greedy???? Mr. White, this is unacceptable!!! Fix it now.
Reality is that "free" anything is gone. Until there's some fiscal sanity, college sports will be looking in the seat cushions for every dollar they can get. Cost of doing business now that the players are getting their "bag". Sadly, there will be sports that will be sacrificed to the fiscal gods and title IX. My fondest wish for LNS would be to bring the students back to the action and make even more seats available to them, but again, that's not going to happen either. Welcome to reality.

Anyone notice the " bull pen" area at Duke.
I swear it looked like a youth field.
Both " pens " were inside the stadium just beyond 1st and 3rd base.
Looked like a place for a defender to roll and ankle chasing foul balls. Not to mention a line drive foul to anyone in that area warming up.

True but within 45 minutes, Knoxville has 7 lakes, an incredible National Park, a world class AA Minor League baseball stadium, lots of incredible trout streams. I’m sure Fayetteville has stuff to do but I failed to find much on Monday since no baseball was being played.
Northwest Arkansas has most of this as well. Great mountain biking and a world class American art museum. It is hard to find much for one day without planning in advance though.

I actually remember when Vitello first went to Tennessee he compared the Knoxville area to the Ozarks and said they reminded him of each other a bit.

Good to know. If the White River was closer, I would have enjoyed that. World class trout fishing and I loved Gaston’s but that was 25 years ago.

Just realized how close Jasper was to Fayetteville. Spent a week at Camp Orr High Adventure with my twin sons and our Scout Troop back about 15 years ago. The Buffalo River Canyon was beautiful. Great chapel up there. 👆🏼

I'm going to need some updates this summer from our local folks.
Ask and ye shall receive.

Swung by there Saturday and took a few pics. Looks like the concrete for the seats in the nearly completed suites area has been poured. Not sure if that was done before the season ended or not. Steel going up for the rest of the suites as well.

Most of that was done in season. Some of that steel working around the corner is new though.

I'm sure the vast majority of the work is just behind the seats down the 3B line. There's a ton of dirt work, setting piles, etc to do behind there that was held up during the season. They jumped on that asap once things wrapped.

When does the new locker room/training facility go in behind right field?
