Lindsey Nelson Stadium,

Question from someone who has never been to the stadium—what is with the constant wave of people walking up and down directly behind home plate through a glass door. Where are they going?
I believe that would be folks with MVP seats going to their respective concession stand or restroom.

MVP room which has complimentary catered food and drinks and nicer rest rooms. 🍊👍👊😀😀👍🍊🍊
NOTE: next year it will no longer be complimentary food and drinks. It will be a lounge where you pay for everything. $$$$$$$$

That goes to the MVP lounge, I’ve been in there a few times, (not during games), its basically a big open room with some murals of former players, tables, a couple of free drink machines, and free catered food setup along the wall. During the cold games early in the year I don’t blame them for staying warm there

I had no idea they were losing food next year! I mean, I guess all the big money will move upstairs but I kinda hate it for some of them. A lot of those MVP folks have been there pre 2021.

Drove by the stadium on Saturday and accidentally deleted my photos.

A lot more structural steel has been put up. That frame work will be done quite soon, if not already.

I expect by September all the roof will be done leaving a lot of interior and exterior concrete for the expanded concourses will be remaining.

I am anxious to see where the new entry gates will be when complete. I hope they will be pushed back from the grandstand a bit leaving an expansive area behind the stadium

And looking at all the stadiums over the weekend, Tennessee does "need" a far larger videoboard (or two). Duplicate the Tennessee shaped scoreboard at the new ballpark.
Perhaps smaller line score boards on the fences down the left foul line fence.

Don’t think a new board was in the plans unfortunately.

has there been word about proactively replacing the turf.
With the construction and wear-and-tear around the the bases, it is lookin wanky in person.,

If they're upgrading the lighting, and the sound, I would have thought an upgraded video screen would be obvious. A massive one above the left field porches would cool.

Supposed to replace turf this offseason.

After being at Baum Walker this weekend. Lindsey needs a lot of work, which we're getting. I wish we would close the road behind right forks field and build a place similar to the "Hog Pen". Call it Smokey's bowl, Davey's corner, etc
That was a cool sight. Their stadium isn't land locked like ours is, so I know we can't have that large of concourse areas. I think some small tweaks along with the massive reno will make ours one of the elite stadiums. Their fans are more engaged that ours unfortunately

I know this won’t change but I love natural grass and dirt fields. Hoover and Omaha are grass and they are beautiful! New technology and superior draining allows for games to be played after a flood. Baum Walker’s field was darn near perfect on Sat after heavy rain and flooding in Fayetteville late Friday evening and early Saturday morning. Not a fan of turf and yes I know that we have virtually no ran outs at LNS but baseball should be played on grass IMHO.

I'm glad we have a dirt mound at least. Oregon State's stadium was 100% carpet, pitching mound included... it was disgusting 🤮🤮

The heavy rain did not fall during the game. In that case, they had plenty of time to dry everything after removing tarp.

The turf is a complete necessity unfortunately for February-June Knoxville

Which this spring proved. I know it wasn't the most rain by amount, but it damn sure seemed like the most rainy days we've had in a long, long time.

Hopefully we get the opposite next year. Or at least the weekend dates stay dry.

The very good scoreboard about 2.5 miles away.

That's very nice.

I also appreciate retaining the water tower.

Could say the same about the majority of the SEC towns and the NWA metro is bigger than most
True but within 45 minutes, Knoxville has 7 lakes, an incredible National Park, a world class AA Minor League baseball stadium, lots of incredible trout streams. I’m sure Fayetteville has stuff to do but I failed to find much on Monday since no baseball was being played.

They have several months to FIX this issue !!! They better not take the food away!!!

As an MVP seat holder (4 of them), if they do go through with this, next year will be my last holding these tickets. I have had MVP tickets since they built the place. You want to talk about greedy???? Mr. White, this is unacceptable!!! Fix it now.

I guess they sold the old one from Neyland? It was way too small for football but would be awesome over at LNS. maybe its on govdeals.com ! :)

The reason why they draw 12 k is they usually have a good team and there is absolutely no other show in town . Fayetteville is not really close to anything. Not knocking it but it’s the truth.
