You mention the Vols and you're gonna get attention...which makes every "dead" period even more annoying. Once baseball season ends I can only imagine how desperate things get for these pseudo reporters.

That's a Jumped up dagum lie. We don't have any freaking money to spend. Donde Plowman is crocheting potholders and dishcloths to raise money for cryin in the creek. Heup is forcing his kids to sell "lemonade"(cannabis soft drinks) to raise funds.
Besides if we had money our bargain basement coaching staff wouldn't spend it and if they did it would be wasted because they can't evaluate talent.

Probably no need to worry about it because within 3-5 years there will be no conferences. Just one big League of 40+ teams ..

I think the conference remain but their structure will be a collection of regional affiliations culminating in a national playoff. You may see the return of the PAC-some #. Northeast and North Midwest- B1G, Southeast and some Southwest -SEC, North West and North Midwest - Small 12, Southwest - PAC-something. ACC will be swallowed and dissolved. Regional playoffs leading to National Final Four.

I think we got a better chance at beating Bama or Georgia than Florida...is that crazy to say?

A few reasons.

1. Georgia is at home
2. Georgia is early, they seem to have most trouble under Kirby early in the year on the road... last year lost at Kentucky and nearly lost at Bama both games in September. 2023 close game at Auburn in September. 2022 close game at Missouri Oct. 1st.
3. Georgia is breaking in a new QB too (I know Gunner is experienced, but just 1 start)

So is the College Sports Commission trying to immediately blow itself up? What kinda of idiotic people are running that mess to think they can straight up say "go against actual state laws or we'll blackball you from our conferences as well as playing against programs in our conferences!"

That's kind of a monopoly they're trying to create...and here I thought college sports would do more to get the federal government out of their business.


Not to mention it would effectively blow up EVERY SINGLE championship playoff/tournament structure.

Not to mention that they will be possibly violating both state and federal laws.

In the Swamp it's not a win, until it happens. I'm optimistic as anyone and I think the youth and confidence of some of the guys we'll be counting on could help a lot with some of these games.

But Florida got better as the year went on and return their QB. Curious how well Lagway plays. I think he's a tad overhyped based on what he actually did... but he's got talent.

I have believed all along that this House Settlement is a nothing burger at the end of the day because it is just more litigation waiting to happen. So glad we have an admin that sees what is coming. Watch, other states and schools will be taking the same path.
