My favorite story about Oregon uniforms happened before I retired. A woman from Dalllas that I worked with who was a huge football fan (Univ of Texas alum) and her husband also a Texas grad have two boys who at that time were 10 & 12. All they wanted for Xmas were Oregon football jerseys. I just smiled.Even with wild uniforms like Oregon, they generally keep things like the wings and the O on the helmet, except for in throw/faux-backs. Like you said, you have to keep your brand. Just slapping logos on stuff is amateur hour, like 99% of the concepts posted on here.
