And that’s the thing. So many of these kids aren’t fully developed when they start college. They put on size, strength and speed….and gain a lot of experience and understanding of the game in the process. Garner has a good eye for these kids, what they got under the hood and between the ears. If he provides solid, dependable depth, then great.Who ever heard of a kid named Dalton Knecht until UT grabbed him. Now look.
It’s the best part of the portal, a late developing player out of high school. He goes to a smaller school and they get bigger, better and faster. Then they have a chance to move up in competition. I’m glad you happy with a get from a Division II player. I see you have the same high standards. After this season, you will be agreeing with me about picking up D-2 players. There is a reason he is a D-2 player. He will play. I don't get it when some new gal on the block post trash on the board, especially one who , apparently, doesn't know what he/she is talking about.
I love how people who admittedly have never heard of this guy are getting criticized for no apparent reason by guy who has never heard of this guy lol.Can we get posters to please reveal their coaching credentials before criticizing the judgement of the best DL coach in the country? And please state how you would coach our DL differently.
Such ignorance. ACU (Abilene Christian) has fostered 43 NFL players. Mostly at the D2 level, and a few since moving to FCS. And that's just one example. Grand Valley State is an exceptional program with exceptional coaching and multiple titles. With Judon currently playing LB for the Falcons. I'm guessing you got squat, and likely run a 5.6 20 yard waddle. One thing we can agree with you on is you were never good enough.I’m glad you happy with a get from a Division II player.
