Merk was supposedly given an NIL bump after the Nico ordeal but then he hired Carson Beck’s agent and they requested more money. I’m assuming this is the new contract through his new agent.

Obviously many think that GM is our savior, I remember recently a couple of years ago most on here we're spewing the same thing about Nico. Merklinger could be the starter just as Aguilar could be. My money is GM gets red shirted just like the previous two Freshman QB's were ...

My best bet is Merk will be qb1 to start fall camp, with it being an open competition that Aguilar wins towards the end
