The Deportation of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia

OK, what was the decision of the court and when was it?

Didn’t we start with the claim that there was no evidence he’s a gang member. Which is obviously a false claim.

Now we are to “what did the court say”? I feel we are moving the goal posts. He’s been in front of numerous judges at this points with various rulings (denial of bond, exemption from deportation to ES over fears, Supreme Court, federal judge, probably other rulings too)

I never made the claim that there's no evidence that he's a gang member. I believe his attorney and wife are making that claim.

illegal
gang banger
wife beater
human smuggler

When will the Dems build a statue?

The best of the entire story is the end. “He was halted from deporting” because “he was at risk of retaliation from MS-13s chief rival, Barrio 18”

So the left is claiming he’s not an MS-13 member. But he hangs with MS-13 members. Wears MS-13 attire. Was identified by an informant as an MS-13 member…..

And MS-13’s main rival wants to kill him.

Clearly not an MS-13 member.

Specifically what evidence would you to prove someone is a gang member?

They dont keep rosters. To me wearing gang attire and being detained alongside other gang members is evidence of gang membership.

So what would you like in addition to that?

To me, there is evidence. He would not have been deported and sent to the prison if not.

The govt said so and we should trust them to identify terrorists for us. I mean, we pay them enough for the privilege

Unless you’re a member of the A-Team then I guess we’ll have to hope the government gets it right some of the time.

Then why has every court asked about it with no response?

Not true. The documents released are the same ones used by the courts. The evidence is clear. Identified by an informant as an MS-13 member. Arrested with members of a gang from his home. Wearing multiple articles of clothing associated with the same gang. Exempted from deportation to his home over fears of retaliation by MS-13s primary rival gang.

That’s a hell of a lot of evidence that this man is an MS-13 member.

Then why did the Supreme Court rule unanimously against it?

They didn’t rule on the question of “is he a gang member”.

They ruled that he was ineligible for deportation to El Salvador and that the administration has to make efforts to bring him back

Being a gang member is not a crime in itself, is it? One would have to commit a crime, no?

Is that a joke? No. You don’t have to commit a crime to be deported. Especially if you came here illegally to begin with.

Dude is married to an American citizen, he has 3 children, I presume born in America and you seem to be saying that coming here illegally should warrant a life sentence. Do I have it correct. With no due process? Why not bring him back and come up with something more appropriate?

He’s had a lot of due process. He didn’t get married until after he was detained and facing possible deportation.

Sure, he should be brought back, placed in front of a judge, and immediately deported to a different country due to his fears of rival gang members.

We agree on much, at least give him a chance to find his way back to his family legally.
