he is battle-tested in QB competitions, he would come in to provide stability for their offense during injuries or when QBs struggled

The T signal is different, though I've never seen anyone make a T signal and don't even know what that means.

It's the result of Shane Beamer. There was a longstanding unwritten rule that the receiving team on a kickoff would make the T gesture to signal to the kicking team: "We're not returning. Don't cover." So that someone didn't miss a 'fair catch' signal and take someone's head off when they weren't expecting it.

Shane Beamer had his team do the T gesture and then return the kick. It was a big bruha last year. Just showed Shane's lack of class and sportsmanship.

Apparently it was crass enough to make it into the rulebooks.

View attachment 736041This is what Tennessee needs to get back to, recruit recruit recruit! Big Phil’s first 10 years were great, back 7 not so great. Great times.

A lot easier to do when you don't have a reduction of 28 scholarships, a reduction of 36 official visits, a reduction of 40 unofficial visits, a reduction of 120 evaluation/ scouting days, and a 28 week ban on ALL COMMUNICATION in your first 5 seasons because of the actions of the coach before you. These penalties are what Josh Heupel has been dealing with while winning 30 games the last three seasons. Probation is over at the end of this year, and I think we're going to see a rapid ascent in recruiting over the next couple of years.
