I truly admire how this program is brewing into something special. I am fully locked in to Coach Caldwell and her staff the way they are handling business heading into year 2.
Every single comment on here talking about the roster I love reading that stuff can’t wait for next season.

Does anyone have any intel on which programs Avery Strickland might be interested in if there's mutual interest? Most may disagree, but I could imagine Kristy Curry at Alabama being someone who, like me, could see the "dawg" in Ace. She's similar to Loretto, Tenn., native Karly Weathers, and Curry has done well with her.

I'm guessing many people here see her as a mid-major prospect, and you could be right. But I don't think we've seen the best of Strckland yet, and I hope she lands somewhere she'll be appreciated. I was always impressed by her motor.

Were you the poster who use to dog Kellie for not recruiting Avery out of high school then she finally got her from the transfer portal and made no splashes ?

What business? Where are the transfer additions? You specifically keep talking about the returners and FRESHMAN!!! Where are the damn transfer additions? All the good elite ones are taken!!! So are we just gonna settle for mid players? Please

Can you show me a team over the last 30 years that won a Championship without an AllAmerican?

Did you think we were going to win it next season if we got Latson? Cooper could be an All American as a junior, the freshman are potentially later in their careers. Were still building and Latson wasn't helping what we needed that much. I don't think having her as our All American was going to get us the title.

It’s not the entire system, it’s just the mass subbing every 30 secs, the other coaches talk about it like it’s a gimmick or something.

Your really not being truthful saying every thirty seconds it is more like 90 seconds in the beginning and in the second half it is usually over three minutes and some players stay in there up to six.

Not worried until we don't get any of the post players. Cause perimeter players we have Cooper, Whitehorn. Mia, Mya, Deniya, Boyd, Civil, and Hurst. So were looking to add one or two there. Inside we have Spearman and Latham that is where the hurting is and we need to get some of the big names at those positions now.

We better be getting it done. The list of good post players is shrinking fast. Not many left in ESPN top 25 portal players. Need 2 post pretty bad and 1 experience shooting guard.

Such panic over Latson. If she signed this quickly after SC lost, this was her plan from the moment she entered the portal, regardless of UTs sub patterns. She's going to go play with her buddy and learn for a year from Dawn. They will continue to get the pick of the litter as long as Dawn is there, imo.

I get some people hate the subbing and I get some people don't trust the system, and to each their own. But, let's not act like Latson was right there knocking on Tennessee's door and the sub patterns chased her away. Doesn't seem to be the case.

I'm hoping for shooters. Love or hate the system, it is what we are riding with and we need three points shooters. If we get zero of those and zero length (Zee 2.0), then I'll be disappointed.

There is no deadline. Players in the portal can be recruited/contacted until they sign a financial aid agreement with a new school. That can go all the way up to the first day of classes in the fall.

I agree if Williams and Okot got off the board looks like were not getting it done. Looks like to me that are going for Todd and McMIller. McMiller is just a sophomore, but really don't know about her attitude don't know who was at fault the most up there.

Skim Milkey said it has been her plan since the season ended. She just wanted to make sure Raven was coming back.

But isn’t that the point? To try to win the championship? Or make moves to try to win the championship? USC went to the elite 8 in one year after JuJu. TCU went from an abysmal record to elite 8 in one year with HVL. I don’t think losing Latson is the end of the world but the other posters going to the other end acting like it is no big deal that the leading scorer in the country is going to a rival and championship contender is silly as well. I’d hope that our Atheltic Dept and coaches are trying to win now instead of just build.

Sure but losing Latson doesn't kill the deal. Who we need to win is someone totally different. Players that can rebound and score inside. We got eight guards adding her just muddled it up a little more. I guess over there they can play Latson, Raven, and Fulwilley, Johnson and another guard can fill in. I don't think they are winning the title unless they get inside players and they may well get them next.

If we got Latson and the post players you mentioned we could compete for a Championship. Hopefully Cooper makes that turn next year. She has the potential.
