At this point there are no more elite players in the portal! Safe to say we will end up with very mid players . All the good ones are gone! This system is ruining us

That is probably the $300,000 question. I would have them talk to Ruby Whitehorn, who also was very skeptical of all the subbing, but says she thinks she had more growth this year than she did in previous years.

Well no one would really know that unless they flat out say it. I’m scared that it may be an issue with top players, but until someone comes out and says they don’t like the system, I’m not buying that as an obstacle in recruiting just yet.

The thing about Ruby is she never averaged 30 mins per game and she had ties to Rickea, I know we will get some role players that don’t care about mins but that’s about it.

Not worried until we don't get any of the post players. Cause perimeter players we have Cooper, Whitehorn. Mia, Mya, Deniya, Boyd, Civil, and Hurst. So were looking to add one or two there. Inside we have Spearman and Latham that is where the hurting is and we need to get some of the big names at those positions now.

yes there are a lot of girls in the portal, and we may be okay.. but I don't want to rely on the freshmen, they may earn a role but I want some proven players to build competition, and fill the holes we are losing in production.

There are a few I like but I am worried we wont land them either. We need to be aggressive if we want to return to women's F4's in this crazy tough SEC let alone NCAA. with the UCONNS, Texas, LSU, UCLA, USCe, USCw. We gotta get our talent to that level.

Something to keep in mind, sometimes these elite players already have their destination before they enter. Olivia Miles to TCU has been a rumor around for at least a month and a half. If you were expecting to get her that was never happening, resources or no resources.

Oh yeah going to a 3 time NC champ and a perennial final four team has definitely killed her career....worse career move since Robert Downey Jr. agreed to play Iron Man. Poor guy. Homeless now and begging on street corners.

It’s not the entire system, it’s just the mass subbing every 30 secs, the other coaches talk about it like it’s a gimmick or something.

I’m not asking what u think about the roster, but would u feel comfortable going into the season with a roster full of role players?

Looks like that is the new way to do it not worry about the next season. You get 15 play the best 10 or 11 and let the others get in the portal the next season and you try to keep a few of the 11 and build with the portal and freshmen again. I find it is not worth it to worry about what any one player will do the next year get all you can get now.

I’m sure we’ll get some decent players. Have to hope they’ll move the needle for our team like Latson to SC does or Cotie to Ole Miss or Miles to TCU. The Haves of the WBB world are continuing to get better, and we’ll have to keep pace. We have a great class coming in and that’s a great start. Have to stay clam bc it is a little concerning seeing a lot of top transfer players in the portal coming off the board.
