President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

If it had been JFK Jr.? That really would be one hell of a story.

I think what he is saying is, because it was a hostile journalist, it makes it hard to understand how this could have happened. Goldberg didn't hack his way into this chat. He was invited. The only way that was possible is that someone in the chat had Goldberg's contact information stored .... but why would they? It makes no sense.
I saw some story linked in here earlier today claiming it was some attorney from a legal firm that sent the invites to the chat.

Maybe you shouldn't have invited that journalist into your group chat, Mike?

These idiots are acting like Goldberg hacked his way into their group chat ... He didn't.

They tried implying that for a bit earlier today. That gimmick didn't take so they are on to the old standby excuse of ""Yeah, but the Dems did (insert bad thing here), and that's worse!!"

I'm pretty sure it had to have either been someone in the chat, or someone using the Signal app of someone in the chat. Either way, there isn't a good explanation for how the editor of The Atlantic wound up in the chat.

That's ridiculous.

They can't have it both ways. You can't assure us of how secure Signal is .... and then try to claim that a journalist hacked his way into the Signal group chat of a national security team.

The story that I saw said it was an attorney from an outside legal firm that was no doubt in the chat that set up the chat group. I’m trying to find the story.

BTW, I wish you’d change your avatar. She’s too hot for you. it’s like lawgator’s old avatar.

She has the prettiest smile. I love our coach ....

Really sad where we are as a country when neither side can just say "Yup, we screwed up.. here is what we're doing about it". And for an administration who has preached accountability and transparency it seems like we're getting neither.

You can’t be much more transparent than sharing group texts with the media.

We don't know for sure if he did disclose targeting information. Hopefully the investigation will shed some light onto the truth.

What the Atlantic should do is release the full transcript. If the SECDEF and the press secretary are both openly claiming nothing in there is classified, test their claim.

Release the full transcript and show they’re lying. If they are

So, if it was Elon Musk or JFK Jr. in the chat instead, you would have no issues with it? Your post is total nonsense.

It would raise national security and classified information concerns, yes. It wouldn't be as bad as what did happen, but yes. Still a problem.

.... and he does not appear to care one bit that it happened or even how it happened.

If Goldberg had put Hegseth's information on the internet on March 11th .... instead of sitting on it until after the operation had been completed? They damn sure wouldn't be calling Hegseth's information unclassified. Trump would be calling for Goldberg to be prosecuted for treason.
End result, Houthis died. That’s what he cares about. Not those “what if” scenarios the left is trying to embrace as the worst event.

You‘d think Goldberg with his history of hostility towards Trump would have jumped at publishing the entire chat as soon as the administration said nothing classified was discussed.
