When I asked what is this all about? I was asking for specifics. I still don’t know what is unfair about Canada‘s markets. Are they taxing aluminum? Cars? Electricity? What exactly is this all about? That I don't know but it wasn't your original question.
I'll take a guess and say they could remove all tariffs and trade barriers and that would do it.

Your link said those barriers were never reached and that Trump negotiated those terms in 2018. Do you really think it’s worth tanking the stock market over something so trivial it’s non existent? If that’s what this is all about then Trump’s got big issues. I don’t think he does have such issues. It’s gotta be about more than thatI gave you a link regarding dairy products and how Canada has set up barriers to US imports. IDK about aluminum, cars or electricity but if they are hindering imports of US dairy products what makes you think they aren't doing the same with other commodities?

That's not how I read it. They said we never even got close to those barriers. If what you're saying is true, I'd expect the numbers to show that we exported right up to those barriers and then stopped. Why didn't that happen? There was nothing keeping us from doing thatNo, my link said that the Canadian barriers to US dairy imports prevented producers from ever reaching their import quota so the 200% tariff on imports over the quota has never been imposed. They prevent us from importing our full quota.
The US has never met the quota to kick in the high dairy product tariff. I think the tariff stuff is just a waste of political capital.I gave you a link regarding dairy products and how Canada has set up barriers to US imports. Becky Rasdall Vargas, senior vice president of trade and workforce policy at IDFA, said: “Frustratingly, the U.S. has never gotten close to exceeding our USMCA quotas because Canada has erected various protectionist measures that fly in the face of their trade obligations made under USMCA.
That's the problem I identified. Trump's administration has done a poor job communicating this to us. It's not up to Google to tell us
Trump is the one imposing these tariffs. I want to hear his reasoning. I want him to tell me specifically what he wants from Canada and why he did itIt's up to you to be an informed citizen and not rely on others to spoon feed you information but here are a couple articles that go into more depth about the dairy products and Canada's import barriers.

It appears you are correct.Right, we haven't because Canada won't let us even meet our full quota.
