We are 22nd in offensive efficiency, which I believe is the best since the Grant Williams SS team. With a #1 defensive efficiency, it’s enough to win a whole bunch of games.

I would easily take Bruce back if he was an option as top choice. I’d also make a run at Scott Drew too. Getting him would essentially be hiring a younger and better Rick Barnes résumé wise when we had a vacancy in 2015.

But I’d be all over Bruce.

And he'd come, too. Give that guy a second chance at UT and there's no telling what we'd accomplish.

I also think Mike White would be a sleeper if he makes a run deep with UGA this tourney. Would be awkward as hell

I honestly think having a healthy Estrella would have won us a couple of more games in the regular season.

Especially the Ole Miss game.

We would have easily been a #1 seed right now had he not got injured.

Despite how bent out of shape I get when we lose, I hope Barnes gives us another year or two. I also would not mind TN giving Justin Gainey a shot as head coach.

That being said: I hope White hires someone under 50 when the time comes. I trust that he knows men’s basketball, as that was his sport as a player. I would love to see the Vols set up for decades of success under a younger coaching staff.

I don’t really know enough about Beard, but it’s fun to use his baggage to heckle whoever else hires him. For that matter, if we’re going to take a chance with controversy - someone is going to give Will Wade another shot.
