What's wild is JG would have absolutely THRIVED in Heupel's offense. To be honest he probably ends up with a pretty solid career had he just gotten to play under Butch with DeBord at OC.

But a true Dual Threat that was sling 60%+ with a good touch on the ball would be made into a pretty impressive QB. I think JG would have been somewhere between Joe and Hooker...

Guarantano had good accuracy. He threw a really good deep ball.

His issues was mainly mental. And he could never overcome it. But he was a warrior.

This is usually the sign of a championship team. Passing gets all the love. But running the ball and more importantly stopping the run will always be the most important things in football. Right now we're elite at both.

We can run on anybody and nobody can run on us. That's usually the formula for a national championship.
