Funny he’s getting bent out of shape because a member of Congress said the word “shi*” yet his current Democratic POTUS regularly uses profanity such as dam*, hel*, and calling people a SOB. Guess his morality has a double standard?

They didn't want Kneepads (Kneepads was polling lower than the Ice Cream man pre-debate) Slow Joe screwed them on the way out. I would think it would be in her best interest to find a basement somewhere for a while because my guess is they are coming for her, she's the next contestant on "Who Wants to Take a Dirt Nap for the Presidency". These people don't care about us and they don't care about Kamala.

Whoa whoa... I'm not sure if this is sarcasm or not.

Let me be clear. I'm simply throwing out the possibility that "they" are using her as a convenient scape goat. Realistically, she doesn't run the Secret Service anymore than Biden runs the Executive office. The Deep State is career bureaucrats and govt employees. They are the ones that run the day-to-day operations. This woman could not possibly be able to monitor or coordinate anything in her position.

Well had they actually tried their best to create a fair process to replace Biden on the ticket, instead of simply installing the candidate they wanted….

I agree, but I don’t think they could have done much better than this. Biden ****ed them by announcing he was running again and nuking the primary field before it got started.

They can’t depend on black votes and then stiff arm the black VP, right? Even if black people don’t really like her, pushing the black lady aside in this circumstance would be a terrible look.

They also needed to make a decision ASAP. Splintering the base into primary mode in August before a general election would have been worse than just running with Biden. Getting Whitmer, Kelly, Buttigieg, Shapiro, Beshear, AOC, etc on board so quickly was the best they could hope for, IMO. It’s the most organized they’ve been since everybody dropped out to pave the way for Biden.

I do think both parties have the problem of a serious lack of quality candidates. Apparently decent candidates don’t want the job.

Decent candidates can’t seem to get anywhere in either primary. Will Hurd would have been a good president. 0%. I thought Hickenlooper, Delaney, and Michael Bennet would have been great from the Democrat field in 2020. I’m not sure they managed better than 0% combined.

I liked Justin Amash and he got run out of the party and politics. Ben Sasse was okay and he got run out of politics.

I do think Pete Buttigieg is a pretty thoughtful and smart guy, even if I don’t think I’d see eye to eye with him on some policies and spending. Mark Kelly also seems like a decent democrat with the same caveat.

It seems like the first party to abandon primaries and just run moderates who he “not the other guy” will dominate until the other side adjusts, but neither will do that.
