true... plus this is in PA home of about 900,000 registered hunters. Probably every mom & pop there sells guns.

All very true but what we should be demanding from our elected officials is discussions on policy and for them to drop the absurd labels.

Couple problems here 1) Biden called for cooling things down then says he hasn't engaged in any heated rhetoric himself but Trump has. Goes on to repeat Trump is a real threat to democracy claim. 2) MJT should shut the hell up for sure. Has she called for the rhetoric to be toned down?

The hypocrisy statement is merited when you (Biden) make a plea for it then not only deny you engaged yourself but double down on the heated rhetoric. He didn't mean a bit of what he said in his addresses to the nation.

I just have no faith in the FBI, if there are messages ext in his phone saying he did this to save democracy, help Biden, Roe v Wade, pick a reason it will not be released.

We also should make the legal standard, our personal standard.

I don’t think adultery, meth, prostitution, crack cocaine, or calling someone the last president should be illegal. I also don’t think those are things anyone should practice

I think it was @RockyTop85 who made what I thought was an excellent point about the ladder. The still frames of the ladder were well after the shooting. Taken from a helicopter. It could be that ladder had zero to do with the roof access of the shooter adn everything to do with LEO and SS personnel getting up there.

We don't know for sure because info is still coming out, but I think that line of thinking is reasonable.

I have a love/hate relationship with mine. I'm like this thing sucks trying to get all setup, get all pissed off - wanting to throw it in the dump. Than I'm able to do something a normal ladder would never ever be able to do... I'm like this is awesome!!

It would fit in the trunk or back seat and still reach probably 16 or 18'. The ladder thing doesn't really make me think conspiracy.

We just do this song and dance every time something like this happens and the sides are just reversed.

With Paul Pelosi there was “no evidence” the guy was influenced MAGA and rhetoric doesn’t make people do bad things, anyways.

Now, there’s “no evidence” the guy was politically motivated.

Political rhetoric has taken on this fairy tale quality of good vs. evil. There are a lot of disturbed people out there who are motivated by that. Both sides are past the threshold of having somebody act on their rhetoric and commit violence.

What is the point of selectively using a political bludgeon when everybody knows you defended the same thing last time? What is the point of trying to fend off political bludgeons when everybody knows you were the one wielding it last time?

saw that too.... there was an eye witness - the homeowner where the perp parked the van - who said what happened when they took it away on a flatbed. It looked like a beat up chevy van to me.. and the eyewitness said it had AZ tags which i thought was odd.
