Told ya. When Tennessee gets #1 overall seed Monday watch the doom and Gloom because HISTORY SAYS a #1 overall seed hasn't won since 1999.

That’s not exactly it.

In 2021, MSU got run ruled in 2 games in the SECT and won the national title. Arkansas won the SECT and lost in the supers. In 2022, OM lost their opener in the SECT and won the national title. UT won the SECT and lost in the supers. In 2023, Vandy won the SECT and lost in the regionals. UT lost their opener in the SECT (and out) and went to the CWS. Before Covid, there are examples of teams winning in both, but there is definitely recent evidence that winning the SECT really does not do anything for you. You use a bunch of arms. It’s the long game.

I have a feeling he doesn’t want us to win, lest we forget the Abomination of a game thread. That was worth at least a month ban. Do we need to do paperwork here, a petition?

All of this is simple, Voltello/Anderson/Elander have it all mapped out. Sit back and enjoy the ride. LSU is the hot team against crap pitching, but our guys are the tough, winning team against all pitching. We just need to go ahead and slash tomorrow and win this thing. We need to see Amick come out of his mini-slump before the regional.

We will have a good path at the regional and some rest before and after at home. When this team is rested and playing at LNS they respond well.
