I took it as him still referencing the captured politicians who are bought and paid for. Honestly I have no issue with that if they do damage on purpose in exchange for money

He should at a minimum be more careful with his words.
When you say - “I wish we could charge people saying global warming doesn’t exist”, people are going to think you want to charge people who say global warming doesn’t exist.

Donald Trump simply shouldn't have had sex with a porn star/stripper while he was married. Then there wouldn't have been any need to make a hush money payment to her, or a need to cover up any such payment.

I don't care if he was a private citizen or not .... If Donald Trump is going to hawk autographed Bibles, pander to the far-right evangelical community and play the "holier-than-thou" card? Then his personal life becomes fair game, even if it involves something from 2006.

If Joe Biden was embroiled in such a thing ... Republicans would definitely try to exploit it for political gain. That's just the reality of the American political landscape in 2024.
