Also Dave Serrano was a pretty good baseball coach, he just couldn't seem to figure out the SEC grind and recruiting to this level consistently.

Nope but I sure as hell can appreciate the product because baseball is entertaining.

Womens basketball is not. No matter who is the coach or isn't. Don't care and I know I'm not alone. If it weren't for Pat, it all would be an afterthought.

You're talking to somebody who agrees with you that even Elite teams in WBB are hard to watch.

But my point still remains, people don't care as much about Kelly because people are only interested in WBB when it's a winning program. Similar to baseball, it's getting support right now because Tony has them at an Elite level.

any my point remains with all things being equal, college baseball and womens basketball are not in the same universe. It the lady Vols went 30-0 I still would not tune in. If the baseball team is a .500 team Im in.

To me women's basketball is really just enjoyable when you're dominant. Pat was and the Lady Vols were fun to cheer for, then Geno and suddenly a ton of UConn fans popped up, and now it's South Carolina and LSU...very few programs have just always had a built-in fanbase.

I’ve been following this all morning. The videos are nuts! I’ll be curious to see why it happened. They’re saying it doesn’t appear to be intentional, so I’m guessing a medical emergency with the captain of the ship.

Ship lost power and issued a warning, I think, 45 minutes before strike. Officials never shut down the bridge as a potential hazard and didn't clear the construction crew. Sad situation for the families of those still missing.

Men’s basketball used to take a back seat to LVs until Bruce Pearl arrived and brought the energy back and Pat left and the program wasn’t the same. Tony V has done that with baseball now. People are going to get apathetic to LV basketball if we don’t start making elite8 and final four runs.

Sure, but even after Pearl left. There was still a decent amount of fan engagement when Tyndall and Martin were here.

Not sure on new guys. Been out of loop for a bit, as had projects in California for last few months. I’ll get some updates after Easter. I’ll be back in Knoxville for at least a few months.
