Colorado wins. They’re probably in anyway, but they can win the PAC 12 tournament tomorrow.

They shouldn't be. Their win today was the first they've had over a team that will be in the field. They've beaten a bunch of NIT teams.

Y'all could have prayed for a little less pain too. (Sarcasm)

Worst pain I've ever had in my life right now. 3 vials of percocet and some fentanyl and I'm at a 6 on the pain scale now. Feels worse than the initial break. Feels like they ripped my teeth out, broke my nose, horrible headache and my neck stiff as a board.

Apparently my nose was in worse shape than anticipated. I had dozens of fractures and bone shards floating around.

Ok..bitch away if it makes you feel better. This team was never a dominant team, it has had THESE kind of games in them waiting to come out ALL year..it was always going to be a ton of luck and supreme effort to win a NC with this squad.

I still do and always will love this team...

But people should remember one thing and take heart ...the last time they played this poorly and janky looking was against A&M several weeks ago.

Though this team has occasional massive clunkers like this...they also have greatness in them.

I am a Vol..but I dot want them to play great in the Dance for me or us...I really hope they do great in the Dance just to shut the buttmunchers that all over them when they have the occasional bad day up...they play hard and they deserve to be appreciated, as does Rick Barnes...not bitched at and castigated incessantly by a bunch of entitled ignorant/stupid a**holes.

At what point was I bitching? All I said was giving the excuse of nerves is something I can’t agree with. We’re at the end of the season where every game officially counts. To say nerves got the better of them is inexcusable. That’s not bitching, that’s just stating a fact. This squad has the weapons to make a deep run, but if you’re saying they can’t get past their own nerves at this stage, well then we best accept that deep run may be deep into the second round at best.

As for griping about Barnes, I love RB and hope he’s got another 2-3 years left in him. But that being said, I’ll acknowledge he and his teams always seem to fall apart in March. It’s strange to watch.

Well it’s that time of year again, the eternal return to the argument of whether Rick Barnes is a floor wax or a desert topping and the straw men construction business is booming.

As for me, I hold these two thoughts in my head with absolute certainty:

1. Rick Barnes is the greatest basketball coach Tennessee has ever had.

2. We are not getting to a Final Four with Rick Barnes as our coach.

As always, I am hoping to be wrong about number 2. I expect we will rebound in a big way in the first round next week, crushing whatever #15 seed we get. The round of 32 game will be a dogfight, with a 50/50 proposition of getting to the second weekend. Beyond that . . .

I will enjoy the SEC regular season title banner we will hang, we should all appreciate that accomplishment as it’s not like we have a bunch of them.
