Just saw this. All the best. I had that procedure several years ago. It worked well. The only issue I had was I permanently lost some sense of smell. probably lost 30-40%.Prayers requested folks. Leaving shortly to get a septoplasty to correct my deviated septum. Not looking forward to it, but I am looking forward to better sleep and fewer sinus infections.
Prayers for my wife who's going to have to run the house and take care of my sorry butt while I'm laid up. Bless her.
I've heard that's common, I passed on it for that reason. Had some lingering sinus issues and tons of infections.Just saw this. All the best. I had that procedure several years ago. It worked well. The only issue I had was I permanently lost some sense of smell. probably lost 30-40%.
You may not realize it but you seem to have lost your sense of taste (in bball coaches)Just saw this. All the best. I had that procedure several years ago. It worked well. The only issue I had was I permanently lost some sense of smell. probably lost 30-40%.
Hopefully you got your sense of taste and smell back. I know a few people who either never got theirs back or it never went back to its original state.I've heard that's common, I passed on it for that reason. Had some lingering sinus issues and tons of infections.
Then Covid wrecked my taste and smell completely anyway haha
Hope you dont get stuck smelling that foreverYou may not realize it but you seem to have lost your sense of taste (in bball coaches)
I kid
Hate that for you. I seem to be able to smell right now. The gauze smells like a guinea pig enclosure for some reason (I do not have any pet rodents - but my friend had GPs when I was a kid), so maybe it's a little off.... LOL
Been 3.5 years and it's not fully back. For the first year it was basically gone, everything was super distorted the 2nd year, then year 3 it's started to return to normal for most things. I'd say I'm at 80% normal after 3.5 years.Hopefully you got your sense of taste and smell back. I know a few people who either never got theirs back or it never went back to its original state.

Mine never came back completely after Covid, and that suxs for someone that cooks and tastes food for a living. I’ve learned to have someone that works for me to taste behind me and compare.Hopefully you got your sense of taste and smell back.
