Because they are saying that this is a pre-existing rule. They are saying that Spyre is a booster, therefore they broke the long standing rules about inducing recruits with money or other benefits.

They are arguing that this has nothing to do with NIL.
But every other team in the nation is not doing it???

That's anticipated as a not unlikely future move by corruption central.

If you're still trying to catch up on it, a recommendation would be to read all of LA Vol's post in order.
😂 That’s what I did! Then jumped around to read some of all I missed. Still confused about what started it and when since I saw the quote by Donde about her and DW being denied an audience.

The NCAA -- since there is a rule against them discussing cases under investigation, skirted the rule, doing great violence to the spirit and intention of the rule -- leaked their story to Pat Forde and the NYT, who published it on January 30.

tom needs to chill. really think we will need more state's to join us. I half expected other's to have joined already.

Perhaps in the TRO is in our favor they will.
There is a strategy that would say... Let Tennessee and Virginia do their thing, if it goes well, we all win. If not, well, better them than us.🤷

Fehr & Associates matched every clown metric by referencing the previous labor agreement as “grossly unacceptable” and refusing any counteroffer that even leaned in that direction. And after all the mess went too long and the season was cancelled? Sued to basically reimplement the previous labor agreement as the new one…Mensa level stuff! 🤪
Donald Fehr has the most punchable face in the history of mankind.
