@butchna. Not having read (until now) the article, some of the posters were giving me the impression that the story that Bama was tampering was just a random unsourced internet rumor. It's clearly not. It's the same publication "all the world" loves to cite as Bible in the case of the Nico article.

Liked for use of the word srill. I have no idea what it means. And yes, an investigation would be nice.
Come to think of it, I don't think "sr" is pronounceable in English, only in languages like Sanskrit that can use a diacritical mark to imply the vowel sound. So I guess you could take "srill" as "shrill" (as I did) or "surreal." That is all. 😂 I'm just in a clowning mood.

If there are no NIL rules, then how and why would the NCAA be investigating anyone (including UT) for NIL rules violations?
Because they are saying that this is a pre-existing rule. They are saying that Spyre is a booster, therefore they broke the long standing rules about inducing recruits with money or other benefits.

They are arguing that this has nothing to do with NIL.

Reactions: Orange.

So they arbitrarily declared them a “booster”
after the kid finished his freshman year and now want to declare him ineligible. Perfectly sound. 😏

Everything with the NCAA is gray, but I'm not sure Spyre is a booster by strict definition. Won't stop them from trying to build a case on it.

Like I just said...I was just answering Glitch's question...don't get it twisted that I am giving that load of pureed 🐎💩 any legitimacy.

Not saying you are...I just know how people honestly get things twisted in here.

How can there be no one in national sports media who doesn't spot a situation and intention this obvious, and have the integrity, interest in his or her own craft, and courage to report about it honestly. It's a slam dunk.

I know you weren't. Just offering the counterpoint so the worry circle doesn't run with it.

I'm not a Kentuckian...I despise the University of Kentucky...and yes there are a vast amount of pure BubbaGumpish type idiots in their fanbase, along with a ton of pure smartass jackasses like Matt Jones..

That being said...I don't understand why people working in coal mines is a joke...it is one of the most difficult and dangerous jobs there is, and the men that do it are some of the hardest working and brave people anywhere, and the men that have one of the relative few mining jobs that are left actually make a pretty good living..so what is funny?

I respect them...rant over.

Edit...I also want to add, they all got totally f'd over and betrayed by the ones they have been faithful to forever thanks to the Unions. It is absolutely sickening what happened to tens of thousands of good, hard working people up here since 2008.
Thank you!!! I find the coal miner jokes very distasteful also.
