Let's not forget we will have an inexperienced QB throwing to a young group of receivers playing behind a piece meal o line and a defense that is at best mediocre against better teams. I don't see 10 wins. I think we are closest to this year's win total.

At this point, Im not sure why they continue to not do this. I've seen a ton of people, myself included list this as the number one barrier and they just seem content with how they market despite the majority of the fanbase still not knowing who or what Spyre is.

I think most Vol fans are aware we are paying $Millions for Nico.

He saw them versus inferior talent. Which tells me its between the ears. Yes, we are less talented at WR. Yes Thornton was playing out of place. Yes Ramel dropped everything thrown his way. Yes we forgot about the TE's.

But nothing will ever top this year's Bama game. Stats absolutely minimize how crooked that game was called. One has to judge it play by play. I've never seen the like.

And @jave36 I am still waiting for an answer as to why an official from Birmingham is on the phone in real time with the officiating crew and has input on calls. I think he is... their boss. It would be over the top if he is a Bama grad

They rushed two guys and kept a 3rd to spy.

They had a second layer of 3 guys doing absolutely NOTHING.

Then had 5 in the end zone. Bama also had 5 in the end zone.

They win 99% of the time if they rush 6 and drop 5 at the goal line. Milroe would have about 2.5 seconds and no one is running 40 yards into the end zone. I bet he would have just chucked it up and it probably get's picked or falls short on the ground.

I think they had 7 or 8 in the endzone when Milroe threw it. Still an absolutely horrible scheme. You had the two most outside receivers, basically one on one with a DB. And, of course Milroe ate an entire PBJ sandwich before he had to throw.

I would have thought rush 2 or 3; play man to man on their 5 receivers; then have 3 in the end zone (in thirds). Take a dpi if needed because that is only 15 yards.

Rushing 2 or 3 is what they did and got no pressure. Milroe had all day long. Receivers are eventually going to get open if you give them enough time.

The thread seems to state that Bama, UGA, Ohio St, etc. opponents are rarely penalized.

Oklahoma is closer to DeSoto. But if he’s improved his personal decision making, Jackson Arnold should help him look elsewhere.

2 teams in turmoil in Kentucky and Florida
Only 3 teams are Anywhere near brutal ... Georgia , Alabama and maybe Oklahoma...

There is no such thing as an easy SEC game outside of Vandy for the program at this time...so yeah, that's some dumb .

We once again have to play the 2 best programs in CFB....something NOBODY besides Auburn has to do....now add in perennial top 5-10 Oklahoma AT Norman and yeah....brutal.

This program AT THIS TIME is nowhere near good enough roster wise to be thinking anything is easy.
