Don't you have a HS to whine about?View attachment 598322
This argument is so stupid.
Like I said, it’s probably the last chance he has to play meaningful football on a big stage in his career. He no doubt knows that deep down, even if competitively he thinks he can crack an NFL roster and hold his own. For that reason, I’d say it’s a terrible decision for him to opt out. He has pretty much nothing to lose. An injury isn’t going to drop his draft stock like it would if he were a first rounder. Anyone who takes him is doing so as a project anyways. One can hold both of those opinions simultaneously. Opting out is bad for the sport, but they’ve devalued most of the bowls to the point where certain players opting out is absolutely the correct decision for their future.
It’s the correct decision for Joe, too. But I can’t fault the kid for wanting to play.
There won't be a SEC East next year. It will be harder to get ATL because only the top two teams will go. There will be no more Missouris winning a division by taking advantage of the rest of the division being down. Many times it wasn't the two best teams in the SEC in ATL.Pretty high ask as an ultimatum considering the landscape of the SEC East.
His only chance of being drafted depends on him being healthy at draft time. If he’s hurt, he’ll never even get a shot.Like I said, it’s probably the last chance he has to play meaningful football on a big stage in his career. That's what I just asked Marco. We can at least make excuses once right? The first two years he exceeded expectations. So that buys him at least one i think.
I don’t necessarily think that’s the case, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it were. So I’ll concede. His only chance of being drafted depends on him being healthy at draft time. If he’s hurt, he’ll never even get a shot.
They rushed two guys and kept a 3rd to spy.I still haven’t stopped shaking my head at Auburn letting Milroe camp out in the pocket and then letting Bond catch that pass.
I really hope Nico gets bowl game reps. It doesn’t make or break 2024 but it would be nice for him to get extended live fire snaps. At least he gets the practices.

False. Game reps are the most important thing he can get right now. Nothing is better for maturing than playing at the college level.I also think it’s funny the same people that are praying for him to opt out are probably the same that think opting out is bad for the game.
Chances are this is the last chance Milton has to play a meaningful football game in his career. Nico playing has little to no effect on next season.
Again, that’s not a rebuttal to my point. It’s just a straw man. But I’ll play. I’ve said it’s not a fireable offense, not a ceiling. People like you who have sky high standards are the reason we couldn’t even sniff 8-4 for 15 years. Demanding to be Alabama or Georgia every year is a good way to become Kentucky every year instead.Because you're posts are typically negative and you've said multiple times you're fine with TN going 8-4 every year.
Even if it’s to the detriment of our team and season next year? Makes perfect sense for one meaningless bowl win. We will win with Nico anyways.I care. I would guess many other Vol fans throughout the world care as well.
I know Heupel cares cause that record will be with his name for the rest of his career.
Its not the end goal. We fell short of that. Its a disappointment. But you win as many games as you can. You owe it to everybody associated with the program.
He will get that next season. The bowl could help, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t matter that much. It sure didn’t help Cade Klubnik getting a start against us for his next season.False. Game reps are the most important thing he can get right now. I played collegiate sports and you grow up the most from playing and learning on the field.
