Classy.
Dude all one need do is watch a Bammer game, and any other SEC match and compareGA was supposed to play at Norman this year, but they claimed they "could not" and had to cancel. Sankey fronted for Kirby, declaring there was no possible way for Oklahoma to play a return visit in Athens because Oklahoma was joining the conference!
Sankey also "forgot" to send Kirby to play at TAMU this year. Just accidentally left them out of the rotation and started over from the top. GA has never played there since TAMU joined the conference. Some teams in the East are on their second trip.
I know I have said these things before, but just in case someone is unaware of the kind of schedule manipulation that the Birmingham office practices.
Brutal....We add Oklahoma...at Norman..to our normal brutal schedule..c'mon man.
We’ve been on the other side of that. Duke’s not had the luxury of having a hot name as football HC since Steve Spurrier.I saw that. Sad to read about the team. You know they must feel betrayed even if they understand the money.
People who go off on players for NIL, portal, etc., need to realize they are imitating their coaches, school administrations, and the TV networks.
I agree whole heartedly. What would our record have been with this team under Butch Jones? Can you imagine the D with Sal Sunseri?A&M and Kentucky games are losses with every other coaching staff since 06-07 Fulmer
I don't think Oklahoma will be close to brutal. Definitely no a gimme, but they'll be settling into a new OC, and probably a new offense. Venables is a defensive guy, so there's no guarantee the offense/terminology will carry over.Brutal....
3 bottom feeders in Vanderbilt, Arkansas, and Mississippi St.
2 teams in turmoil in Kentucky and Florida
Only 3 teams are Anywhere near brutal ... Georgia , Alabama and maybe Oklahoma...
Non Conference is cupcake city ...
Now reply with I'm ignorant and delusional...
And the classic![]()
To be completely fair, how many of those years were the regular seasons more than 10-11 games?Since 1973 we won more than 10 games, 11 times. That means in the LAST 50 seasons, we won 10 games or more about 20% of the time. (I think, was a research paper guy, not a maths guy).
So, to say 'we are 10 win team.' Is false and inaccurate.
We are capable of 10 wins, and havent realized our potential. We are a storied program, hungry to win. And have a coach who is capable of realizing that goal. He is young, driven, and competitive.
My suggestion to you is to enjoy it.
For our usual SEC schedule, this is pretty manageable. Plus UF and KY are at home.Brutal....

Oh I dont have a clue. My point, obviously was to illustrate that we could celebrate a winning season. And, to point out our winning record historically matches nearly perfectly with our 23 record. Not sure what else there is.To be completely fair, how many of those years were the regular seasons more than 10-11 games?
I think the bottom should be 7 wins. A good season would be 9 and a great season would be 10+Let's not forget we will have an inexperienced QB throwing to a young group of receivers playing behind a piece meal o line and a defense that is at best mediocre against better teams. I don't see 10 wins. I think we are closest to this year's win total.
