Didn't see you posting much last year. I wonder why. Who are you going to pull for since your boy Chip is out at UCLA.?We hired a guy who turned a 13-0 program into a 6-4 program in three seasons because we were desperate and his former boss couldn't convince anyone else to come here. We caught lighting in a bottle with Hendon, a QB our own head coach chose not to start over Joe in 2022. Last year was more likely than not the high water mark of the CJH era and we're stuck with this guy for another five or six seasons because of his contract. Get ready to be good again in 2031ish...maybe.
Florida yes. Missouri, no. They'rea good bit better than most everybody thought they would beIt amazes me at how quick people forget where we were and how far we have come. To be honest this team put up two bad games this year that they should have won, Fla and Missouri and got beat by the ones most thought they would. At the beginning of the year almost EVERYBODY said 10-2 or 9-3 with the possibility of 8-4 if things didn't go our way and guess what they didn't all go our way.
Now I'm reading this BS about fire CJH, who in the hell do you think we could just go get. Name one big time super successful coach in the country that has won national championships that would just drop everything to coach our team. Kirby Smart, Saban, Dey,, oh, I forgot Jimbo Fisher, lets get real for a moment, back off the ledge and think about what we're bitching about.
Do things need to be changed, yes. Will those changes be made, some I'm sure but not one person on this board goes to practices and is privy to what the coaches are saying among themselves about what we have talent wise and what we need. I feel fairly certain they know.
I don't think they have enough confidence in the QB to run the whole offense. I think the musical chairs that has been the OL hasn't helped and young WR haven't yet learned to get separation like last year.
The defense has been beat up and beat down. Lack of experience at LB and just the plain lack of ability to put the DB's in position to be successful is a problem that must be fixed in order to get to the next level.
We have a good coach and he knows what they need in order to be successful more than any of us do. It will take time....like it or not.
We definitely still lose but the game does have a different feel if it's closer at halftime. What happens if the refs don't throw a holding flag on Slaughter's interception? Do we score? The crowd was electric at that point. Could Wright have busted another long run?
That flag, like most calls against us this season, was a game changer.
I hope the SEC is satisfied with the "punishment" they've dished out this season. The team and the fans have been screwed over by our conference. I hope Sankey is proud of what he's built. Jerk
After we get back to 9 or 10 wins next year, he'll disappear again until we have an embarrassing loss. I've never seen him post when things are going good.He took a 3-7 program and turned it into an 11-2 program in 2 seasons and now its 2nd (tied) best season since Fulmer left...
Go drunk. You're home.
I'm not triggered. Just tired of people saying the same thing over and over. Do what you want. I think we're all feeling pretty crappy after today.
