The Problems with Trans-ideology

Individual freedom. Agency over our own bodies. That’s where I lean.

The docs are in a tough spot. And I fully support them saying - “No, I cannot in good conscience assist you here. Find another doctor.”

The one thing I know for certain is I want no part of a world where Luther’s “experts” get to decide for us.

I’m all about freedom. Make sure all caps are removed in terms of damages allowed for any doctors doing this, before we proceed.

Absolutely.

It’s why I’m always quick to distinguish between Legal Adults and Minor Children in these discussions.

If you are a legal adult and choose to have your arm removed, or your penis, I don’t want to hear a word from you later about how it has negatively impacted your life and you are entitled to damages.

Now, if you clearly said cut my left arm off, and the doc cut your right arm off - that can certainly be judged.

And no disability benefits either.

Edit - reading again and I think we disagree. But that’s still my position.

Yea, I want the doctor fully accountable here and unable to limit damages for the procedure he agreed to do. The patient can want the procedure all day long but it is irrelevant until a doctor decides to execute the decision. Sick people want all kinds of things, that is one of the reasons professionals exist, to make sure the correct decision is made.

I get that. I do.

But I think we’re back to where do we draw the line and the nose job analogy.

The only line I can come up with is “legal adult of sound mind and body” - and admittedly that just leads to another can of worms.

Even if a person requests a nose job it's a Dr. Job to tell them if it will be detrimental to their health and nose functions. Dr.refuse unnecessary cosmetic surgery all the time for health reasons but I think more for liability reasons.

And I 100% support a Dr refusing to cut off your arm or penis.

But if you are a legal consenting adult that goes ahead and chooses that - I do not believe the Dr you found that was willing to assist you should be held liable for your resulting distress.

Disagree, 100%. Mockery is vitally important and since Obama came to office too many have been afraid to mock the left. I think that’s really what ruined the media and institutions in this country.

When people stop mocking you, you start believing too much of your own Bs. Like claiming we shouldn’t discuss legislation because the discussion alone (what that congressman claimed) leads to suicide. That should be mocked. It’s healthy. Just like it’s healthy to mock absurdity on the right.

But instead society, the media, and our institutions will treat such statements as beautiful, brave, speaking truth to power, etc

I generally agree with that but there's no reason to single people out in everyday life for it. While fishing near the tiny outpost of Deckers, CO (literally just a fly shop, convenience store/PO, and a cafe under one roof), I was served a BBQ plate by a mid-aged guy in a skirt, halter top, slippers, lipstick and ponytails with a balding spot (I think he was a natural blonde). I courteously & unconsciously replied "Thank you, sir" because I thank servers. When he returned later, I told him I wasn't being unkind but replied reflexively and he stated "That's how I took it, no offense".

The moral is we can let people live as they want - even those functional but with psychological aberration - without indulging it. Many of them - don't know the % - are not radicals being inflamed by anti-American/capitalist movers of the militant group, and just want to not be unduly disparaged or abused. So far, Jenner is one of those people. I'd have no problem calling him Caitlyn, but not 'her', and he appears to understand the difference between wanting to live as a female and actually being one, and has been outspoken regarding screwing with the minds/bodies of kids.

The militants and their enablers, oh hell yes they should be intelligently mocked. Discrimination is both bad and necessary, depending upon the situation.

What were our leftist idiots telling us about how this wont be pushed further into normalizing pedos?

Indecent exposure to children is a misdemeanor in Tennessee right now, obviously EVERYONE who makes TN LAWS is a PEDO-LOVER (or this is more fear-mongering garbage)

I agree. I believe as long as the person signs legal documents to not hold the Dr. liable they can do what they want, but not be able to claim a disability if they volunteer have surgery to get the disability

I didn’t know that.

Would you support a measure increasing “indecent exposure to a child” up to a felony?

You think someone that wants to remove a healthy arm or leg is of sound mind?

And look at the state of society. Most people need guardrails because they arent adults but over grown children.
You can take your authoritarian desired guardrails and shove em right where the sun don't shine. Perfectly understand now why you love Putin now.

Not authoritarian, but I see why the porn addicted weak men like yourself see societal guardrails as "authoritarian".
