‘23 JUCO DL Elijah Davis (uscjr commit)

To win at a sustained level, you need high quality QBs, DL and OL (in that order) and then you go from there. Heupel and team are building something that will last.
Well we got a piece of the puzzle if Nico pans out. You got to just continue to recruit….If you build it they will come. Just win baby !

AP seemed pretty confident the other day that we would get Davis.
This would be the icing….So no matter what we may think the week link maybe in this class…The coaches are building quality players that in there minds. They feel confident in going into there system. That’s a whole lot better than where they were as a team not to long ago.

Listening to John Chavis on the radio, he said he built his defenses around his DEs and his CBs. He said it was always important to be good at those positions. He also talked about how speed was the motivation behind switching the positions of so many players. Safeties and RBs were converted to LBs, LBs were converted to DEs, and DEs were converted into DTs. It was all about getting faster.

That’s why he was great. He was ahead of his time. If you look at how the game is played today DE and CB are by far the most valuable pieces on defense. He was also one of the early movers in the use of zone blitzes

Trying to think of a reason someone would pick the cocks over UT. Maybe if they’re from Columbia and have a sick parent..?? That’s about the only way I could see anyone picking them over us
Pretty sure SC is the home school for him as he's from South Carolina iirc
