Still would rather UNC than Tulane. Tulane is lose-lose. Win and they’ll say, “meh, It’s not a power 5 team.” Lose and they’ll say, “See, UT was overrated.” Plus, we still owe UNC an ass whooping from that 2010 Music City Bowl.

Man people just suck so I was having a front main window put in and had to leave for 2 days until it was done.Got a call this morning someone broke in over nite.I know imma fool but I had just took the majority of my money out of of my bank.No sh*t I've got maybe 500 bucks left in savings and I'm not ashamed to admit that.I struggle daily but I work my ass off for everything thing I have gotten in life while basically raising 2 beautiful little girls on my own.They legit ripped my safe outta my floor with 6800 cash my xmas money,my deed to my house,car titles.I mean did they have to take my Tvs??People suck anymore ive lost all faith at this point i cant catch a damn break.I love this place though sad i have to go on a forum of vol fans just to find any decently respectful human beings... Sorry I'm just depressed as sh*t rite now had to vent...Carry on

SC taking the L wouldn't surprise me. UCLA should've taken care of them in the Rose Bowl. Then all this wouldn't even be a thing.

Every bowl game is lose-lose for us honestly. Win and they'll say "meh, Clemson had a lot of opt-outs and it didn't matter." Lose and they'll say, "See, UT was overrated."

But I agree, I think a bigger opponent from a P5 is a better game for us as fans and also to help motivate the team.

I've thought this for a while. There was no choice but to put us at No. 1 after the Kentucky game, and even then, they couldn't drop us too far for losing to UGA on the road. But the South Carolina loss was a "told you so" moment for the media and the playoff committee.

There's a lot working against us. Our 15 years of mediocrity, Heupel seemingly trending down at UCF following Scott Frost's undefeated season, our poor secondary/passing defense, and the coup de grace was the USC loss combined with Hooker getting injured.

It will all be resolved in time, but it's gonna take a few years of consistent winning in the SEC.

That sucks man I’m sorry to see it. Did you trust the team installing the window? Could they have snooped around and possibly told someone about your safe?

Not really. They just know they have to find some TEs because Campbell isn't it. They've been down on him all season from what has been rumored. Hopefully Warren has decided to play out his last year of eligibility, tho.

I don’t think a win vs Clemson can be viewed as a lose situation. They may have opt outs and we will have opt outs too, but they still have the superior roster talent at this point regardless. A win in a NY6 against a team that’s won 2 NC in the last 6 years is a win, doesn’t matter who tries to spin it.

I’ll obviously get over the Orange bowl stuff if we don’t go and we go to the Cotton instead, but a match up vs Tulane/UCF is just underwhelming. When it happens, I’ll still be excited about seeing my Vols in NY6 again, but there will sure always be a “**** OSU and **** the Rose Bowl” in the back of my mind.
